As announced on social media earlier today, there are free appartments available to be claimed @ Port Atlantis! Go to Port Atlantis and talk to Lieutenant Dan to get yours!
These are a new kind of appartment system that doesn’t exist anywhere yet; you go to a terminal at ground level and access your appartment from there as opposed to going up a televator to your floor and then entering your appartment through a door. So your appartment is basicly an instance and theoretically, this makes it possible to have an infinite number of individual appartments accessible through this terminal.
The free appartment has 200 item points! Claim yours today and decorate it, add your friends so they can visit your decorated appartment!

PS: There seems to be a bug currently where signs are not displaying their messages and message creation on signs seems to be impossible. Not sure if this was intended by MA or not, hopefully they will let us know in reply to this thread. Report any other bugs you find here.
" All players can claim their own instanced apartment by talking to Lt Dan in Port Atlantis. These serve as a basic apartment for all players. It is only possible to use the lowest level cooking terminal inside, and crafting terminals are not possible to use."
Edit: It’s still possible to temporaly lose placed items inside the appartment and you might get stuck on right or left side wall and door does not always work either. So be mindful about those bugs.
You can also participate in Halloween rewind competition that is related to the free appartment.
