How to participate

  1. Open Rewind from the action menu in game.

  2. Record your footage, then edit it in the built-in editor.

  3. Upload to YouTube from within Rewind, and select your category from the dropdown.

That’s it! The event hashtag is added to your video automatically.

Rules

  • All entries must be recorded, edited and uploaded through Entropia Rewind during the event. Before/after videos may use older footage.

  • You can submit as many videos as you like, but each player can win one award at most (the participation reward doesn’t count).

  • Videos entered in previous Rewind competitions are not eligible.

  • MindArk may move entries to a more suitable category and may disqualify entries with unusual view activity.

  • Winners will be announced and prizes distributed within a week of the event ending.

We can’t wait to see your new looks. Good luck!

We still don’t know who won the boats on the last one :joy:

It’s unfair that you are excluding certain players from participating in the competition. I am one of those players.

For players that play on ultrawide 21:9 or super ultrawide 32:9 monitors, the Rewind in-game feature does not work properly at those resolutions and excludes them from the competition.

I have personally contacted support regarding this issue when the Rewind feature was introduced and was told they are fully aware that the function does not work on ultrawides and that they have no intention of fixing it (I’m assuming because they don’t know how to make it work properly at those resolutions).

Here is the direct quote for the response to that support case:

"Thank you for your support case.

We are aware of this, however I do not have any additional information for you at this time.

We do however appreciate the additional information and I will make sure that it’s added to the open task regarding this.

Kind regards,
Entropia Universe Support"

So how is having competitions like this even remotely fair when the in-game function you are required to use does not work properly as intended for everyone that plays?

This looks like a really fun event! Has MindArk mentioned anything about bringing it back in 2027?

Does it work if you play windowed or change resolution?
