[Restoration Chip, Augmented]; IS THIS NOT A AFRICAN PRINCE TRYING TO GIVE YOU 1M$

Interesting your commiseration feels more like adversity

Would you feel better if I handed you a pot of petroleum jelly and said that will make it less painful next time? :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks mate that Petroleum Jelly hit the spot, but I am still disappointed at the NOT AN UPGRADE chip

Thanks for sharing the numbers and warning others about this chip. I got excited when I heard about the new mission, but this is just a big disappointment. Luckily I saw the stats before performing the ā€œupgradeā€. This shouldn’t be called ā€œaugmentedā€. :frowning:

For the record …
[ul]
[li]we only knew that MA would be creating the Augmented Resto Chip, but were not given any stats[/li][li]our part was just the Galactica Elder Coin Mission, and … we were not paid for that[/li][/ul]
I have shared the facts as they are, accept them, or not, but I won’t be responding to any more personal attacks against the VS Team … we have done everything above board and continue to do so … what MA chooses to do with their content is their business, we just created the mission, so perhaps your complaints about the Augmented Resto Chip not being an ā€œUpgradeā€ should be taken up with MA.

Thank You

WoW you are taking this personally where is your professional objectivity? This is NOT directed at any specific entity, but at the actualy NOT AN UPGRADE item put into the game

Dear valued customers … uhmmm … yeah :ROFLMAO:

OK, I’ll stop! I just wanted my 501st post XD

Who’s the Boogeyman?

The hero is offered a quest, brave the unknown, fight the fight, and return for a promised reward. The provider extends the offer, but they don’t set the terms. That power lies elsewhere, in the shadows. The Boogeyman.

The Boogeyman decides everything: the rules, the stakes, the prize. The provider merely delivers the quest, powerless to alter its course.

When the hero returns, bruised and weary, and finds the reward lacking, they turn their anger on the provider. The Boogeyman watches from the dark, unseen and untouched, and laughs.

Because that’s the trick:
Blame the hand that hands you the quest, not the one that rigs the game.

Perfection here!! honestly

Yeah pretty much, at first glance it looked amazing untill I realised it was on a 1min and not a 30sec.

And don’t get me wrong the 1min time is aboslutley fine but keeping the same healing as the mod… well. I hope this was a misstake and that mindark own thier misstake and rework it to be on a 30sec timer with the same heal intervall as now, would make perfect sence for a linear power upgrade in comparison for the adj, imp & mod.

there is some other advantages though - having it last 1min saves the cast time/switching and allows overall more dps as well as the initial heal which is the largest heal on any healdevice directly followed by heal over time - this can be a real lifesaver especially when combined with tezla

so you only get to use that heal once with the aug…in 60 secs, you get the equivalent with 2 heals from the mod using it on 30 sec intervals
the whole article shows how stupid it is to upgrade to a NOT UPGRADE , when you can just buy a lower cost mayhem and have the identical thing…lol
with higher ticks…

This item is a scam and was obviously not looked at before it was created, as in ZERO competence in creation of this

If you want to upgrade your item for thousands of ped 10’s of thousands and spend months grinding to get a single big heal every 60 secs lol and 1 extra shot …sure… throw your money and time away

otherwise buy a mayhem resto…there is zero reason to even look at the Galactica epic missions anymore…

That is pretty silly now that it’s explained. They needa either fix it to make some sense or come out n say the future perfected stats and that it is gonna be a monster when they make it so at least the mission is worth going thru or something

Who in their right mind would TRUST anything MA or a PP alludes to regarding anything associated with an upgrade mission UNLESS they put the item info with stats out FIRST prior to anyone wasting their time and peds on it.

I did mention that you might get an extra attack in, but the inital heal dosen’t make much of a differance, the total heal is the same only differance is that you can use it once rather twice, and honestly I think that is mostly preferance.

and no comments from MA even when a PP has to defend the situation

I’m amazed people go into business with seemingly so little insight in the business and it’s operation

Wow. For an ā€œuberā€ item, this is just sad. Straight up Tier 10 Copium.

It reminds me of when MA dropped the Bukin’s Spare Rifle, Adjusted, upgrade quest and half the player base cheered like it was Christmas, thinking we got a true upgrade. But any ECO grinder worth their shrap knew instantly: this wasn’t an upgrade, it was a trade-off.

The original Bukin’s Spare Rifle had max DPP. The Adjusted version? More damage, more range, faster fire rate, yeah, it looked juiced. But the DPP took a decent hit. So sure, it slapped harder per second, but cost you more to do it.

To us, an upgrade means more efficiency, not just more pew-pew. And that little sleight of hand told us everything we needed to know about MA’s ā€œupgradeā€ philosophy: they’ll boost the spectacle, but not the substance, unless it benefits the loot pool’s bottom line.

Call it what you want. To us, it was just a shinier PED sink in disguise, just like this new Restoration Chip, Augmented.

Such a shame MA is doing these antics again, but on uber gear.

Pretty sure they haven’t even seen this thread. Or if one of the 40? staff seen it they are too busy running a ā€œmulti million dollarā€ company to worry about a silly thread pointing out how unbalanced a single item in the game is…. ?
