MS9 Signature Contest . . .

[B]I think it’s about time that I have a proper signature, so I’m inviting all the creative artists out there to show me your best designs. I’m willing to give up 1000 EFD (I think I’m able to do this, right MB?) … PLUS … 200 PED. If this is acceptable payment for a cool design, then let’s see some good stuff.

Here are a few particulars that might help . . .

  • My favorite color is purple.

  • My avatar name was created as a result of …

Mind = I’m a psychology professor. (no, I don’t “scan” minds) :wink:
Star = Wanted something galaxy-like in the name.
9 = I was born the 9th day of the 9th month.

  • Society name is “JetStar Alliance” … which is made up of both my
    brother’s name “Jetboy” and my name “MindStar9”

If any other information is required, please let me know. I would appreciate anything anyone can do to help with this. I have no clue how the signature thing works, so once the signature is selected, you’ll have to walk me through how to upload it … I follow instructions well. [/B] :slight_smile:

[B]I was thinking that maybe one or two weeks would be good as a time-frame within which to make a decision if there are designs submitted. I’ll accept any input with regard to what would be reasonable. I’ll make the final decision on which one I like the best and would fit MS9’s persona.

There are a lot of creative people who live at this forum, so I’m sure someone would be able to come up with something. Svet … I know you’ve done them for a lot of people for free, but my mission here is to stimulate a lot of creative juices (<-- there I go again) … and offer an appreciative reward for the efforts.

[B]WOW … nice start to some pretty creative offers … love it. Never thought about using a mint green color with the purple Cay, and having 9 circles was VERY creative … it looks great. And Skam, great thinking about the shooting star effect, I love it … and keeping with the purple theme is awesome. Grey … I like the slant on the name in yours, but perhaps it would look cooler with purple in it.

One of the things I neglected to mention about the name is that I not only capitalize the “M” in Mind, but the “S” in Star … hence, MS9 … so if the name is spelled out, then the “S” should be capitalized as well … sorry for not mentioning that before. :frowning:

The others look great too, but keep in mind that I would love to have not only the purple incorporated, as well as the name, but also stay in line with the essence of the name.

Thanks to everyone who submitted so far … I can see this is going to be a VERY challenging decision for me. I knew we had a lot of creative people at this forum, but if this is just the start, OMG … I’m going to have a hard go at it for sure.

Skam … you’re right, I made a mistake about the person who was doing the signatures … it’s “Ultimababe” … how could I have gotten that wrong. Guess there are those who do so much at this forum it’s rather challenging to keep them apart sometimes. I am so in awe at the special people we have posting. I’ve been rather busy, but getting into posting more now myself.

To answer your question about whether you can submit more than one signature offering … I think it would only be fair to all if we limit the offers to just one since some may have the creativity to do one, but not the time to spend doing more, which would create an unfair advantage for some.

I am SO looking forward to seeing more for sure. Love it, love it, love it. Can’t wait to be sportin’ my new signature.

[B]All I can say so far is . . . WOW . . . this is going to be a VERY hard decision. What has been submitted so far is incredible, and I’m totally excited about having a special signature that fits MS9.

I don’t want to wait forever to have it, so I’ve decided that I’ll make the announcement next Friday evening, October 22nd, at 11pm EST (East Coast USA). Not sure what time that is elsewhere, so maybe someone can figure that out for me and post it here.

As an edit to the original request … and I know I should have thought this out a little more … is there any way to incorporate my trademark statement in smaller print and quotes somewhere?

Thanks for all the efforts. It’s going to be an absolute pleasure giving up the EFD and PED for the design that catches my fancy the most. They’re all great designs, but I’m really looking for the overall creativity that encompasses the MindStar9 pesona.

[B]OMG “DD” … that freaked ME out when I went back to page one to have another look at everything and found your entry. UNbelievable …you posted while I was writing MY post and “VOILA” … there it was!

Wish I were a mindreader, then I’d know what MOBs carried what loot/items and wouldn’t waste the bullets (as Moon calls them). BUT … I really wouldn’t like that either, because I love the excitement of anticipating what will drop, if anything. It’s all part of the adrenaline rush … especially when I have several MOBs to loot at one time after the fight to the finish.

Ok … back on task here … this is REALLY going to be a hard challenge for me because the designs are just awesome, but I wanted to choose the winner on my own based on the “feel” of it relating to MS9, rather than do an EF vote on it. It’s going to become my special signature, so it has to “feel” right to me. Still … this is really going to be hard. I’m just grateful that I have such an incredibly brilliant lot to pick from.

You guys really have my respect and appreciation for putting forth the efforts … even though I know the EFD and PED would be nice to have too.

I can tell you right now that my brother “Jetboy” is quite impressed as well, and even though he doesn’t have the EFD to give up, he’s already made a comment to me about wanting to get his own signature too, and posting more to the forum as well. SO … whomever wins this contest may have another job to do, unless Jet wants to hold his own contest. That’s strictly up to him. Not sure what the reward will be, but AM sure that it will be worth it.[/B]

The frog need to be replaced by a nice ingame picture of yourself (in purple) and basically anything else can be changed to if you wish for it.
Also the current size is too big, but of course, i can change that too..

EDIT: Ooops. I mixed up a couple of words in the slogan.. Ill fix that, plus make it the correct size for the next version. PM me here if you want other changes made as well (and feel free to mail me a nice ingame pic of yourself at tigerman@imperial-dreams.com so that i can put in you instead of the frog)
