[B]Thx for the info Cay … unfortunately, I’m already aware of DD’s ban. I’m not privey to the ins and outs of why, other than what I’ve read at the forum, and I can only say that it’s a shame that there couldn’t have been a meeting of the minds with a reasonable resolution. I may do a generic post with my thoughts and not take sides in this, because I feel it all comes down to communication … as others have mentioned. I’m still considering that though.
With regard to the contest … I’ve already made arrangements with Sveta just in case DD might be the winner. There’s no clear choice yet because they’re all so super. The announcement will be made Friday night.

I kinda just made it to have something to do waiting for my ADSL to be delivered so i can go on internet at home again.. now i can just browse the forums and shit from work
Of course, the 1000 EFD kinda helped me get an excuse to get started.
But 200 PED wouldnt hurt either

[B]Well … what can I say … many in the game have been recipients of our (mine and Jetboy’s) generosity, but we do so “unconditionally” without expectation of anything in return. It’s mostly been with those who have been a part of our society (currently and in the past), but certainly with those outside of the society as well who have genuinely needed a helping hand … whether being escorted to a TP or simply needing help with a shitload of MOBs on their ass. :laugh: We feel that being helpful is a privilege, if not a duty at times.
SO … when it came time for me to think about an official signature for MS9, there were no second thoughts about rewarding someone for the design that fits the essence of MS9 in the most “feel right” way. When I announce the winner, I will also tell why I chose the design I did. It’s going to be an extremely challenging task for me because the designs offered so far are absolutely amazing.
I’m really going to need time to look at them all and make my choice, so I’m going to say that 10pm my time (EST-USA) will be the cut-off time for submitting an entry, since I’m announcing the winner at 11pm.[/B]

Here’s an interesting tidbit about the entries for this contest . . .
I have NOT met any of the individuals “ingame” who have submitted entries, nor interacted with any of them in any way other than Tigerman who spontaneously “bubbled” me while I was standing at the storage unit at Zeus, but then I only said thx and he was on his merry way.
So I find that rather unique . . . but of course I know you all from this forum for sure.
