had it easier to transfer only parts of BO into the game 
it’s not much about the situation itself, but:
Kalashi, u can’t say “imo is not legit”. is not ur opinion which counts if is legit or not. u are not the founding father of anything to establish the legitimacy of anything.
MA never stated anywhere that the money should be transferred through the game. actually, is more normal outside of the game.

This sale has of course something to do with marketing. We all know that. Anyway, it is only the start of sale with virtual land in computer games and I am sure it will gather loads of attention from newspapers and tv stations around the globe. I really don’t think MA would be that stupid and make this false. They are planning to make PE as long-term and now also get much more ppl to join when servers will be ready to recieve the masses.
My guess is that this is only a start on the million trades we will see in the future though.

He’s also wrapping up (I think..heard from some m8s down south that filming was almost over) on the remake of Miami Vice and I beleive he got a pretty hefty sum of money for doing the film, so that combined with his previous earning from PE, and the release of Hey DJ, what would you do?

MA must be loving the balance sheets. Even if all that $700,000 is withdrawn, They can make December the end of the fiscal year, and not send the money back until january..
in fact, December probably IS the end of the fiscal year, which is why they announced thats when the sale would commit.
so if you’re one of the seven parties that DIDNT get the space station.. =/ Dont expect your money till january.. MA holding onto that extra (near)million.. it will look incredibly great on the prospectus that we’ve been waiting on..
in other news, im fine with ND owning it. he easily has the funds, his own personal business probably will write this off as an advertising expense. a large one albeit, but the potential to use the space station as a fully immersive “entertainment tonight” will take advertising for indie films to a whole new level.

MA doesn’t take the transfer fee, that’s for the provider ( iDeb ) and since they make money with transfers… I don’t think they’ve done this one for free

Im not gonna say anything is bogus about this because none of us know squat about it… But.. (you all knew that but was coming didnt you? :P) I know of 2 people that deposited the full amount within 2 hours of auction/cl-message appearing that both got the peds ingame AFTER a server down in which the space resort magically dissapeared from auction… Im happy ND got it, the man obviously loves the game and wants to help it progress, but what about those 2 people and the other groups that were putting together funds for bidding on it? Why was there suddenly a “buyout” on a piece of property in auction for the first time ever, biggest sum of money for an item/LA/whatever in PE history and its gone 3 days (out of a 60 day bidding period?) later with a 1 million ped bo? Im not gonna state what i personally think here since im kinda biased, but im not surprised people are questioning the scene of events a bit…
Well, that’s kind of the case with a buy-out. The auction time can be 60 days, but if someone puts up the buy-out sum, it’s gone in 3…
I really don’t see any trouble here. Marco already hinted that 1000K could be the buy-out and as we all know, when Marco hints… better pay some attention.

When an auction has a buyout, there is always a chance of loosing the bid…

some of them DID directly contact MA and had to deposit into PE using normal means first.

MA stopped talking to people. The key people there were ‘busy’. Those that were moving funds into PE made the decision to do so and could only wait for MA to respond.
I am happy that he bought it, but I am not pleased about the circumstances.
Many of us are very disappointed but there isnt anything we can do but listen to the know-it-alls post on forums. It happened, lets get over it. Lets start planning for the influx of newbies to PA.
Lets make this a positve thing, but I know some troll will keep steering this thread to negativity. Just leave it alone and post positive things only if you got to post.
