FYI, it does not fit the trauma 6. The claw would need to have 0.5 damage more minimum damage for that to happen. That’s why a trauma 5 is the best amp for this claw if you’re not overamping.
That is correct. However, 0.5 damage overamping is so negligible, the extra DPS you’ll get is far more beneficial than having to use (not to speak aquire) the trauma 5 amp.

Neglible difference in DPP, efficiency and DPS no matter which one you pick. Trauma 5 being cheaper right? Then I’d go with that for that reason.
