What I would like to have, is a java-applet with world-clock, so I can just click no a timezone to see the current clock there, and maybe a way to type in a given time, and have it transelate it into different timezones, so we are 100% sure what the ingame time is etc.

Oh boy! Now that would be something :). How many times have i wondered at what time something was… Good idea, i totally support this idea!

The World Clock :wise:
It can even be personalized with wanted times (like put cities of your soc mates there to see what time it is at their places).
Isn’t the ingame time just GMT with out daylight savings? In game right now is about 20:00 right… just take your current GMT-? (-5 for me in cst with daylight savings)
I have set my time zone on EF to GMT and then forced daylight savings off… I’m pretty sure i always see ingame time when looking at posts.
But a built in world clock would be really cool too

Hey Guys! I found A downloadable world clock u can customize and set it to different Time zones.
And its free!
I installed it and it works great.
Uhhh dont bother trying to Register cuz then it costs money.

This is a great site. So what city does MA reside? Stockholm? And is the in-game clock the same time?

You have to think about the absence of daylight savings time i think.
a little window on the frontpage where you can choose wich timezones you wanna see would really be awesome 
The point was to have something on ef, so I don’t have to download something, visit other pages etc. I want it all in one place, so things get easier Not that’ I have big troubles with the time myself, but I often see people ask this question on irc, so it struck me as something to have.

If he conciders it a problem, it won’t come. If he considers it a feature, it has a bigger chance of arriving. And java applets cache as other things, so it won’t use that much bw.
I just looked around for world clocks, googled, looked at hotscripts.com, and i didnt find anything suitable or anything i liked myself.
Go ahead and suggest some javascripts/applets, beware though, if I dont like it, then it wont be added.
ive always liked the idea of scrapping timezones, let the whole world be on gmt,
then ppl can just get up at whatever time they want to, if its sunrise at 1am so what?

Any swedish city will do for MA (since whole country is in same time zone).
PE time is just UTC (= GMT without daylight savings).
So by taking those two, you’ll know what time it is in PE and when support comes to work 
I have just now added “Ingame Time” to the bottom of every page.
"All times are GMT +2. The time now is 08:21 PM. | Ingame Time: 18:21 "
First is what you set the timezone to in your UserCP, the second is, well, Ingame Time (MindArk Time).
