Why are all this 10K to 50K weapons for sale?

Today I quickly browsed the auction and saw a lot of imp/adj or other weapons in the 10K to 50K ped price range for sale. I would say around 20 weapons like ML-35, Adj Starkov, ML-45, Imp. FF 8k, Imp Ep-21, Adj. Omegaton, MK-IV, MK-V are atm in auction waiting for a puyer at the peak priceses we have atm.
This is without all the Selling threads here in EF Forum like Star selling lots of 5 or 6 figure items or the Castel Sale, and also does not include all the shops with IMK2 or similar weapons and the uber or ubers who are atm selling out.

Is this something we will have to live with or is this a sign that the future of EU does not anymore look as bright as some thought some time ago and therfore reduce their financial risk?

It seams to me that not only Weapons but also Armor and Uber Faps are among the items changing hand a lot more than last year.

PS: This is my Opinion and it may be not true but in my 3,5 years I cant remember to have seen so much highend items at once for sale.

lots oposible reasons…

RL exchange rates
impending change of EU to possibly allow for more “investments”
different UL (L) items dropping allowing some ppl who previously had those to gain a better eco.
ubers having more than one uber item they dont need.
People cashing in on the higher prices
sky is falling
etc

Rip

I would not say it’s not bright. Maybe some just want to place their money elsewhere and get the amount they think they can get now for their uber weapons (also believing there might be new things to “buy” when new engine and planets comes around)? I always thought about it this way, that to buy one of the guns/uber item, you most likely would need to deposit money. you wont take any money from the game - but pay with your own. If anyone withdraws, they get the money from someone else, and it’s not MA but another player. Money will still be here .. not?

I might be wrong, but I don’t (yet) see a financial crisis…

3 choices IMO:

  1. Too many UL SIB items dropping - non SIB are becoming less popular due to that (eco hunt wise)
  2. Owners who bought them exclusively for investment purpouses are obviously convinced that this is the max the certain set of pixels is worth money wise…

3 (less possible))
Because ppl realised that MA can create a 40k$ value like this:

includesomelibraryes

Item newModFap = new Item (“ModFAP”);
newModFap.owner = “idOftheOneWhoLootedIt”;
newModFap.databaseStore (databaseSocket);

**put int main () here **

I.

P.S.

Dont get me too serious since I dont really care, needed to write something

Big change coming, but only for the good, I say…

CryEngine, new planet(s), Chinese influx..

Alot of people with alot of money are liquidating their assets to be ready for the new investment oportunities is all..

Personally I welcome it. If more old-school uber weapons are getting sold, the chances of one ending up in my hands are very slightly higher…

You never know, the prices may drop too… :laugh:

Ok, that last sentence had my tongue firmly in my cheek, the rest was meant.

I think a lot of people are in a holding pattern, maybe bored, and waiting for the new changes.

And the best way to take opportunities if the new changes is with peds on the card.

And if the shit hits the fan, peds on the card are better than itamz.

So, basically people hedging their bets and getting rid of stuff they don’t use while prices are high.

imo

People realizing you need 1 stamina and L handgun to profit in hunting and thus selling while they still get something for it?

Just a guess…:scratch2:

Summer’s over and people trying to cash in.

Id tend to think too that its people selling to take advantage of the nice high prices atm. And they may be looking to put that PED elsewhere in game. Probably a few need the money in rl or most likely in EU if they are like me these days. The cost has went up a bit for all. I still believe the EU economy will stay in flux for a good bit until after cryengine and space come around. Then slowly we`ll settle back into feeling comfortable with it barring any huge developments.

It’s a bit scary tbh :confused:
It’s like dawn of days, donno whats happening donno whats gonna happen :frowning:

New L weapons, and possible future L weapons, are competitive, and in some cases better, than many of the old UL weapons. I think the sellers are maybe realizing this and getting rid of them while the value is still high.
I wouldn’t mind owning some of the older weapons, but not when I can get a comparable L weapon for a fraction of the price.

Does this also account for the at least two IMK2 for sale the I do not know how many Mod Fap sold or for sale atm?

BTW there are also new UL Weapons in auction and in EF’s selling forum adverticed for sale.
