whats the scariest movie everyone has seen???

ok whats the scariest movie everyone has seen???

i dont know what mine is yet but the exorcism of emily rose was pretty damn scarry i thought but thats just my opinion  :handgun: :vampire: :whip:

I have yet to see the new exorcism film, but few movies can compete imo with the original Exorcist.

Hmmm- I’m not into blood and guts type of movies (ie. Saw) b/c they are so gruesome I can barely watch. I usually do enjoy a good thriller type…
Silence of the Lambs is one of the best.

Deliverance also has to be up there.

The Omen…I can’t even listen to the theme music.
Salem’s Lot was pretty creepy.
Silence of the Lambs…ofc.
Seven was scary in that omfg…it could happen kinda way.
Saw was just awesome! Can’t wait for Saw 2!

I saw Event Horizon when I was about 12, ive never been more scared in my life

The Ring … uhhhhhh I LOVE scary movies. I used to see Hellraiser and that kind of stuff .. scary, bloody movies with a storie in it. Today I’m into Japaneese movies - AND NOT JAPANEESE MOVIES MADE IN US VERSIONS - but the real stuff. They are SO scary in a psychological way - and the way the movies are made is just SO beautiful (in a scary kind of way hehe)! Theres nothing like a scary movie, a nice cup of the, chocolate cake, sitting in the sofa with the duvet, a nice guy .. u can imagine the rest

But hey, I liked Event Horizon too … that movie was REAL scary … and Seven, I totaly forgot

scariest movie i ever saw was when i was a kid.
I stayed up late one night and saw Theatre of Blood on tv.

Looking back its not so scary and actually a comedy, but there was a scene in it where Vincent Price is dressed as a surgeon and saws a guys head off while he is sleeping in bed. In the morning his wife (who is sleeping next to him) nudges him awake and his head rolls on to the floor.

Gave me nightmares for days

Movies today just aren’t scary anymore.

Agreed Event Horizon is a damn scary movie  I would definately say that the exorcist also scared me a ton when i first watched it. The original texas chainsaw massacre, the shining, and night of the living dead also scared me a ton :silly2:

I would say ā€œThe Shiningā€

Its the best scary movie Ive ever seen but its also scaaary :stuck_out_tongue:

I would have to agree on the Exorcist.
The Freddy movies used to scare me when I was younger lol, now I watch them and see how kinda lame they are lol.

i’m going to totally agree that Event Horizon was scary as hell…

i think Children of the Corn was really good, but im from the midwest and i know how freaky religion, children, and corn fields can really be…

and The Shining has to be one of the scariest non gory movie

and the italian master Dario Argento movies Suspiria, Tenebre, Inferno, Deep Red etc.

hmmmm watching ALIEN being 12 at nigth and alone

Shining and Ring were pretty scary… latter I watched alone I regretted it same night (dont regret anymore - I liked the movie actually).

Silence of Lamb wasnt that creepy or scary I think. Though Lecter is magnetically attractive somehow…

hmmm my high school graduation movie
well the movie must b realy wierd and scary to b ā€œscaryā€ for me…
once i saw The Guinea Pig movie, i read something about that picture and all about the phenomen of snuff movies especialy in Japan, weird and scary
but i dont recomend that @ all…

Just think what ppl were watching few tens of years ago
Plan 9 From Outer Space by Ed Wood is kinda scary hehe …

Usually i don’t dare to watch scary movies, but when i was younger i watched ā€œThesisā€ wich was pretty scary imo

Can’t think of any movie that scares me. Love horror movies though.

However, i’d be very scared if someone forced me to watch a musical though! Now that thought scares me!
