I noticed, that almost all GSI with skill sold in auction ends back in auction again, with higher initial bid value and buyout… Yesterday there was a bunch of GSI with some skills, I tried to buy some for me, but was overbided with a price I did not want to pay, and in one hour I think all GSIs were back in auction with initial price that was about +20 - +50 PEDs bigger than the price they were sold… So I ask? Where is the point? What is the reasonable price of skill, if it is rised again and again with auction resellers? (I checked the name of person selling these GSI’s, and it was the one she bought it, and there are many of GSI’s in auction from that person, so it is probably huge business or so). How can I say this price is too big and that one reasonable? And how can I buy a skill for reasonable price, when in auction I will be overbided or have to pay much more because of resellers?
It’s hard to say what the prices of skills really are, but there’s a few that are definately overprized. There’s a few auction relisters manipulating the skill chip area.
An example are Alertness chips.
There are currently two resellers overbidding each other  to relist them: Olga Sonya Garcoun and Amelia Angel Diamond. They’re bidding on the ones that are around 200 ped only to relist them immediately afterwards for around 300 ped …
A normal price for fully filling a chip with Alertness would be around 50 ped. Which means a reasonable price for a full chip is around 170 - 180 ped at the moment, given the current price for GSIs.
I can only repeat Nicole’s advice, don’t buy from them and let them just waste all their money on auction fees and have a ped after the other go back to loots
I don’t care much who do i buy from. (except if i know he’s a scammer or something) It’s just that i wont buy it if the price is too high, be it looted or resold.
why should buy skills? buying skills is just peds in the wind. is normal to buy a hip now and then only when at some cap (like the LB around 3800, is damn hard to get passed by). but secondary skills? boohooo. With 2-300 i would spend on skills, i prefer hunt, i get wider range of skills, much more fun, and not grow fat some stinking reseller.
This question is like asking how much stocks go for. I have to agree with the comment of prices are set on demand. Also keep an eye on who is selling and if the prices are too high for you budget. I would wait for the market to calm down a little. This goes for anything on the auction.
