What is a good set of armor for Longtooth?

Hello everyone.

I have been actively hunting Longtooth on and off since the migration started however I can’t seem to find a proper guide on what armor and plating I should be using for them. The few posts I have seen soo far all suggest investing into Protector Of The Empire (POE) armor or other armor sets that are just too far out of my price range. I’ll be honest, I don’t have the biggest balance so I can’t really invest into any UL sets at the moment but if I can find a limited set of armor and plating that might help me take on the larger Longtooth that would be huge. I will leave some basic stats of my avatar down below for reference along with my current set.

HP: 158
Evader: 26
Dodger: 26

Armor: Ghost (M)
Plating: Mk. 5B
Ring(s): Ares Ring Mayhem, Improved (L) + Athenic Ring, Augmented

If anyone with better knowledge or guidance can point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated, thank you for your time!

Lower than dominant I think they only do 100% impact. And above that some penetration dmg.

For young’s I guess ghost + 5B is enough if you don’t mind the decay and you’ll prolly need to fap.

If you have a decent fap that heal at least 50 hp, should be good.

If you don’t want to fap a lot, then just get some high impact (L) set, ghost + 5B is 19+12 =31. Maybe instead of getting armor go to auktuma’s shop in genesis and buy plates with higher impact. It’s probably gonna cost the same as (L) armor or even cheaper.

The stalker I tested long ago was 70/30 impact/pen, I also tested dom and they also did pen dam but I didn’t calc exactly what and just assumed it was 70/30. Smaller ones pure impact.
