Im will always be BLP but now I started thinking about the options to move up in weapondry. If u look at Laser weapons there are a clear path to walk to upgrade, at the top of the range is the legendary Improved MkII. For BLP I dont see this path as clear. I used Modified AS-117, Adjusted AS-97 etc etc. Currently I use Adjusted v1 because of dmg/sec and low decay costs. If I now wanted something with cleary better stats what should I choose ? My prioritys are speed (anything above 1.1 sec dont count), Dmg/pec, Dmg/sec.
Mod TR6 seems like a nice weapon but dmg/pec isnt great for its pricetag..
As far as i remember, the only option for you to get a better dmg/s than the Adj V1 will be to take a nice rifle (like as147 or even as147ME) with a Dante…
Though, if you’re really looking for the equivalent of the imkII in the blp series, i think you can search for quite a long times since this doesn’t exist (yet ? :D).
If you’re looking for the best BLP weapon… Well, that’s kinda hard since each player will have a preference and there’s many high end blp rifles (imho).

Hmmmm well Mice since you have already used the mod stark I am not sure where to go after that. Mod Stark :handgun: would be my next weapon of choice since I have adj stark now. If the economy on the adj v1 works for you then I guess you might have reached a peak in BLP there. I have yet to try the Mod TR6 so I am not sure if it would be better or I would have to look at a couple charts to make a comparison. I don’t think there is any direct counter part in BLP to a impMk II. Someone might have a better understanding of the BLP progression. I am hoping in the future MA releases better ecomony (yeah right im sure they will :rolleyes: ) BLP.
What would be a good is a chart or site where you can compare laser, plasma, gauss(fairly new only one model so far), and BLP the ecomonies and similarities speed, dmg/pec and such.

I owned a DOA Rockjacker for some time, it was very nice but not as complete as I wanted it. I prefer to use one weapon instead of switching between a long and short range. DOAs r very cool but wont be an option until I own an imp or mod fap..then Its might be the right choice.
I got hold of a VAT-100 Mentor Edition yesterday. Even dmg/pec isnt great its really an effective skillgun. seems my skills are countering the little less dmg/pec and I do fine with it (even unamped). Gonna keep skilling with it and see how it goes, any ideas on where and what to hunt with it unamped ?

Maybe you should simply give up mob hunting? Perhaps just buy a Meckel & Loch PSG-45 Sniper, slam a Dante amp onto it and go hunting people in PvP3 instead? :laugh:

I guess you are right Problem is I LOVE BLP and I dont want to change but it seems MAs narrow options for high end BLP kinda makes me out of options. The problem is im close to 7k BLP Tech , and in LWT im way behind ( 4.5k LWT)…
Guess Ill keep spraying with my adj v1 until MA drops me a Mod v2 or something nice
