I let of a bomb that was a short distance away from the water.
Low and behold it detected the mine (didnt say what kind or how much was there).
So I hover over it but could not get the deed to print up. The closest I could get to it was 0.1m.
Anyone else have this sad problem? Is there a way to get the minerals?

havent heard about that but there where some post not long ago where people stated that u could still mine in water, so maybe now they changed that ??

I have mined at the edge of the water in the water. But this time I am in swiming mode depth with my locator tool.

MindArk did make a comment about underwater mining being something not worth doing any more. They indicated that very little or no deposits will ever be found there…
They didn’t say mining underwater would be imposssible though just that it was probably a waste of time. It sounds like maybe they have also put in an actual restriction and therefore perhapse your “near water” deed is accidentally disallowed…

You can still claim a deposit underwater, you just cant drop the bomb (probe) in the water anymore.
This problem has been posted about before … all you need to do is move away from the claim (more than 5m) then move back to within 5m and it should claim OK.
I found a deposit yesterday that was underwater. I did however set off my bomb on dry land.
