Warp mines in space...

I think its understandable that the larger ships can hit these mines, but its a bit silly that a small ship like an equus can get pulled out of warps, just my opinion though. I had no idea warp mines existed until pretty recently.

To the goon squad that attempted to warp mine me today, I give the friendly suggestion for you all come to pvp4 and I’ll show you what its like when people can shoot back.

hell yeah. 50mg medistims incoming.

Mines mk1-5 check against warp drives 1-5 and captain lvl - the system doesnt really look at ships but drives and skills used.
Drive 1 equates to lvl0, 2 is 25, 3 - 50, 4 - 75, 5 is lvl100 (this is written as stat on the drives).
Big ships can only use L warp drives but the L drives are available in 1-5 whereas small ships have ul warp drive 1 which has lvl0 and any mine dodge attempts are solely based on your captain level.
The chance to dodge a mine seems to be based on the same system as dodge/evade works planetside, you can get hit at any level - its just much less likely to get hit if you have a much higher level then the one the mine is checking against.
Mines seem to roughly equate to drives of the respective mk class - though levels are not explicitly stated on them.
