Want to buy a UL weapon/weapons

Me and my brother are looking to upgrade our stuff to UL, and dont know exactly what we needed.

The levels of skills are:

Laser ranged: 45
Melee hit: 25

Can change from rifle laser to pistol laser or from laser to blp… Same for melee, from knife or shortblades to longblades… We only need help to buy something “good”.

Thanks for help saying names of weapons or only for orientating us.

Some prefer higher dps some prefer higher eff some prefer lower cost to shoot. Some go about it totally different.

If it was me, I would go about it more like… Target a mob or set of mobs you want to hunt. Then it’s something like Mob HP / 10 then pick a wep that deals around that damage per shot (this is if you want to, on average, kill the mob in 10 hits). So if I wanted to hunt wombana long term and targetted providers. 540 HP / 10 = 54. I’d need a wep setup that gave around 54 damage (effective) per hit.

If that was my goal, I know I could get there with the hero twen w/ a105i or a105m, an lp40 would definitely get there but, that thing breaks every 10k shots which I would find annoying. If I was BLP, the bc30mod would get there with a beast and enhancers, same with maddox 4. Spirit Mk2 twen amped. Less familiar with melee but lb-40 imp would be good but way outta my level range, archons sword with amp+enhancers would work. I don’t think there’s any shortblade in that range for L25. But there’s the new aris PF and the argo claws would work also

Also, as I am also shopping atm for a nice weapon, in that range actually, you would be well advised to get ready to buy as an opportunity arises ( ie save up and depo or whatever it takes to pool those peds so you CAN jump on one if you so lucky to find one). Furthermore, the best time to actually get one is before anyone knows about it. Hint: another anniversary approaches.

i humly suggest a mid tier skilling tool
EP41 military Afjusted + A105 Amp (possinly MOD)
it suits your skill level
is relativly cheap
and can bring you to level 100 in 2026

alternatively get a UL Electro chip 7 or 8 for less than 900 PED
and go Mindforce. skill are very concentrated, rise at incredible pace,
increase BIOTROPIC and after level 30 will help other RANGE skills (RDA specifically) and professions

i used a EWE41miladj and could kill up to 1200 HP monsters easy.
use the extra money that a 2.0 tool would demand to buy ammo.
