Am assuming that they will also make optimisation for other GPUs as well.
Currently, as far as I know, the ATI 4800 series spanks any Nvidia card as far as power / value for money goes.
And I have a nice little 4850 card since a month back which I expect will work very well with the upcoming changes.
It would be nice to see a video of Entropia on the new engine with this video card. MA - how about a sneak peek?

I was just reading the press release about MA teaming up with NVIDIA to enhance the visual effects of EU, then I saw this

Do you think this is going to be like the coins, that are looted from mobs or can they be found while crafting and mining too ( That would be interesting, because I don’t think I have a chance of finding one since I don’t hunt.)
It didn’t say anything about when they were going to be lootable, maybe they are already out in the loot?

Oh lol, someone was saying something like this last night ingame and I thought they were joking…Aahahah! The problem is-Since so many people are complaining that they cannot run cryENGINE at lowest specs-they must have seriously old equipment-so who is to say that their motherboard can fit the card? Or their PSU has enough juice?
