The Entropia Universe has been updated with VU 8.8.2. Enhancements include:

  1. Delayed sound effects with certain weapons have been fixed.
  2. Bird sounds when logging in indoors have been corrected.
  3. Skill level gains have a new sound effect.
  4. Estate terminals that could display incorrect estate information have been fixed.
  5. Creature AI has been optimized.
  6. Continued optimization of the physics system.

Another VU for the Banks?

I guess there will be another VU soon for the banks?

Or will they just be placed on auction without the need for a VU?

its a minipatch, not VU 8.9, so fixing some bugs was the intention :slight_smile:

More of a mini-patch than a full “VU”, and still no word or further clarification on the “Virtual Banking Licenses”…

This is only VU 8.8.2 though and not VU 8.9 as some were hoping for.

So i’ll still only gonna have a 10% return on a hunt with knives??? … ok i go and sweat, craft and mine for a while … at least there i still get a 60% return of my probes, bombs and clicks …

I really hoped for more in this mini update, but at least its something… More intelligent mob’s can be interesting :laugh:

A new year … a new VU … nothing new …

No communication on the banks, although they raised the point first.
And no new content … I really hoped the changes of 2006 would make the path to rich content in 2007

ah yes after extensive testing I have come to some interesting info…

the standard chirpy young is now able to calculate pi with 100 figures behind the dot, mainly with running long enough in circles til he got it
the standard atrox alpha is now able to write douzens of poems, just doesn’t have the hands to hold the pen :frowning:
the umbraniods and calamusiods finally learned to put the clothes on themselves !!!
the standard Feffiod Hunter is now able to get a good approximation of 1+1
