id like to know what unlockable skills for mining there are and around what lvls / prof standings i will recieve then, if ya’ll would be so kind

Serendipity is around 3k in HG and such or great in pro standin

Extraction : 2500 Mining
Calypso Ground Assesment : 1000 Prospecting

extraction: comes at 2300-2600 mining or drilling
calypso ground assesment: comes at 2200-2400 prospecting
drilling expertise: not sure when it comes, might be affected by drilling as well, but strak had 8500 mining at this point i think.
serendipity:not a real mining skill, but comes at or shortly before “great miner”

Serendipity helps in almost everything you do in PE… its kinda like a “second-chance” skill, meaning if lets say your main skill fails, seren can pick up and succeed… if that makes sense… for example

Somebody shoots you, and your dodge skill fails…but seren steps in and succeeds, so you end up not getting hit… same with mining i think… if mining/prospecting/whatever skill fails (in which case you get no resources or dont find a vein or whatnot) , serendipity can succeed and you end up finding a deposit, vein, or whatever else (i dont mine much and it shows :P)

Extraction can be unlocked with less then 2k drilling/mining and without any über engineering skills… might be über serendipity that affects this…

I belive that extraction is unlocked when you pull 18 enmatter/stones to be precise, this is what a friend did when unlocking it… just like Medicine unlocked when lowest heal with fap-5 turned to 6.0 (at least it did that for me :wink: )

I’ll be watching for 18 stones in my window and post again if I get extraction at the same time…

I unlocked medicine when I healed minimum 6.1 with FAP-5
