Well there’s a big part of your problem
Honestly, most IT professionals I know recommend avoiding Norton. Try AVG Free edition at www.grisoft.com if you want a good AV program.
I tried playing around with things a bit today, and I noticed that when I hit “Q” quickly, rather than holding it down, it begins to look like I’m walking. Have you checked your typematic repeat rate in your BIOS settings? It might have an effect.
I’ve tired :
Using different ports on my hub
Using different cables
Using a different NIC card
Un/reinstalling PE
KIlling ALL processes except the bare necessities, includign explorer.exe
Norton is gone
I’m pretty much at the end of my leash here, does anyone have an idea? Crazy or otherwise?
I figure this has to be something messed up in my configuration. However, I just rebuilt the system about 1.5 months ago.
This may not be it but you said you have played for 2 days and your friend has played for a year? is it just the friend that has been playing for a year that runs faster then you becasue “newbs” run slower then skilled players. I know when i’m doing TP runs i gott stop and wait for them to catch up.
Also try assiging the Run action from the action book (press X then click misc) to your quick bar and see if that makes you run.

did you only read the first post or somthing.
1)he cant run on his PC but can on his wife’s PC.
2)he is not heavy enought to be slowed down
3)he started with some friends at the same time and they could run(there was a friend that had played longer thoug)

Well, as it stands right now, I can’t do anything. Last night PE crashed to desktop with one of those friendly error reporting dialogs. After which, I tried to log back in and it won’t load. SO, I geuss the problem is solved simply because I can’t play at all now
Figures this would happen after I made my frist deposit. :mad:
Also, I plugged in a USB keyboard last night to test it. Same results.
And No. MA hasn’t responded to me. Well, the closed my first submitted support and told me I had gear, I was too heavy, then closed without letting me tell them its the same whether I’m at 18.0 or 0.0. It’s fun being brushed off.

I am playing without crashing on the new account, still can’t log in with old one so something is corrupt. Does anyone know if MA will transfer my skills for me?

i dont know about that MA have never really made it very Clear about have mutable account I know in your case its different but I would try logging on with your wife’s computer and transfer over the money that way.
but as far as skills go nothing you can do really.
Well you could buy some GSI but I don’t think it would be worth it.
But MA might do something its doubtful from other storeys IV heard but anything is worth a try
My wife doesn’t have an account. I had to setup a second account because my first is corrupt. I used my wifes computer to install PE and test if I could run/connect. Thats it
