MISSING CLAIM ROD!

Last night I was doing some mining, I went to bed without checking my inventory for unmined claims..

This morning I wokeup, and logged in to find a claim that had been in my inventory for 8+ hours! I was amazed

I asked some other players and they said a claim that is still around after 10 hours is prolly worth 80-100 peds

So i went back to the co-ords indicated on the claim, to mine it up..

NO CLAIM ROD! (the servers just went down for “recalibration” like an hour ago, and came back up.)

Did my claim disappear? Here is a screenshot with the date and time ::

Please help! Unknown deposit for 10hours!

So, as the screenshot shows.. Unknown deposit, lotsa time later, expires 3 hours from me writing this. =/ Ein says that a claim that lasts that long should be maybe 80-100 ped..

So lets see how support runs with the ball. Its up to them.

[I dont care about the co-ords. Im waiting at the location to re-bomb it when it expires in case MA is too slow. =P ]

[Edit: well. Apparently I goofed. If you look at the time, I thought the claim was expiring in 2 hours.. MA uses a 24 hour clock. It’s a bugged claim that actually expired 12 hours ago. let’s see if support catches the error. ;)]

Yep, when you get big deposit, you always get the size+type of ore/enmatter on your detector so if you get an unknown deposit, it’s generally below average. Anyway, I already had a similar bug and it’s always frustrating

got the same thing… my clame “is” at cords:
00,00 -00,00
that means very far out in the sea down to the left..
strange !

Dash it’s a bugged claim , you actually mined the claim, you didn’t forget it but the deed remained in your inventory , a few relogs and it will be gone !

NicoLePro that’s not true , I know people that hit unknown and when they started mining it they had the surprise to be sigs or subs . But it’s easy to figure it out , you just look at the depth , if that’s not shown either you look at the expiration date

Errm , no , that’s a diffrent bug :stuck_out_tongue:

Hi! It is understandable that you feel frustrated about this. However, if a mining claim expires it is lost, regardless of reason. MindArk does not compensate this, as stated in the Project Entropia Conditions of Use.

hrmm.. so they dID paste the answer for it having “expired” .. and yet they dont actually clarify.. they should have said something like “the claim deed that appeared in your inventory was a glitch and should have been removed earlier” when it expired (12 hours ago) etc.

When MA feels like they have been backed into a wall, they start not answering directly and not helpful.
I got the same kinda answer about a question i had about the items we can hold in apartments.

That is a very polite and appropriate stock response in my opinion. Also, very timely.

I don’t think you can rebomb expired claims. Correct me if I’m wrong…

Indeed.. =) After moaning about it for a bit I realized that MA’s on the 24hour clock, and 01:30 on the 16th is before 11:30 on the 16th..

BUT, BECAUSE i still had the claim in my inventory.. I assumed it was still valid.. Yea? =)

Anyways. Supports still silly. =P They need to play the game more. Remember the nutriobar scandal? ‘Well, insert the mineral and try again’ .. bah.

Lol ! Also I love how that newb aerocrash scream for help in the screenie! :hammer:
