Time to recieve Conformation mail.

Has anyone a bright idea why it’s taking so long to get conformation mail?

I just dicovered Entropia today, and I’m ringing!!!
I want to play!!!

So I applied for an account.
Reading that it could be anything from 5 min to 2 days, before conformation mail arrives. (if at has to be approved manually)

… Hours later…
Nothing happens.

Well, maybe I chose a name to be approved manually.
I don’t anderstand that, either it is already in use or it’s available.
Ok, it could be something like SuckerFuckerCunt. (sorry) and this should of course NOT be allowed. (again, sorry)

But it’s nothing like that.

Ok, I apply for a new account, with another name and e-mail.
…Hours pass…
Still nothing.

Why, what, how…

I want to play!!!
Let me in!!!

I supose if the name were already in use, i would get notified right away.
Every other websites work that way.

This is a problem, at least for me. :laugh:

Any conselation or pitty is appriciated.

Dont use 2 accounts on PE.. against the EULA ^^

It was a wild chance, that something went wrong the first time. :wink:
The plan is to delete one of them, if that’s possible.

Maybe it doesn’t look that way, but I’m older than most players. :rolleyes:

I haven’t played online ganes before, cause I’m not the “run’n’shot everything” guy, but this really appeals to me.

What country are ya from?

You inputted all the proper data? Proper address and postal code? (these get checked by a script Im sure)

Hrmm.. Mine only took a day or so.

i made a new avatar when my account was locked and only took like one minute … so i guess you need to have all datas right to be easily check by a machine … and if in 2 days that is not done they check it … maybe is better if you wait 2 days

I’m located in Denmark.
Yes, everything should be OK.
But I tried once more, just to be shure.
I’m probably just very impatiant (spelling?)
But any way, one says 3 days, you 1 day.
It cant be that complicated to set up an account.
All others are doing it, in seconds.
Why should this take days???

Maybe this is a case for the programmers?

All data right?
OK, I live in Scandinavia where we have some odd letters. (æøå)
But the company, residing in Sweden, should have taken those in considaration.

My account was confirmed while I did download the client with 512kbs connection, so it took 4-5 hours.

do you have trashfiltters in your email? maybe the cofirmation post got there? just a wild guess, sometimes has happened to me.

I know there’s “ordinary” filters on 1 of the mailaddresses I used, but nothing specific, and I don’t think that Entropia is on any blacklist.
But this is partly why I tried again with another emailaddress.
I have nothing locally on my Computer.

another idea : your mail might take mails from mindark as spam and put it in bulk or w/e depends on mail … check that out also … and try to complete your info in english french or german … languages accepted by MA

hmm, if you get it submitted and got notification that the activation link post was / will be sent to your email, and you didn’t get it yet, don’t have it in your trash emails then there is plain delay for some reason, you just have to patient

like we say in my country “all good comes eventually” :slight_smile:

NO ERRORS!
But still no confirmation mail. :coffee: after about 10 min.

Yeah that happen to me before and after waiting 1 week I gave up and made a new one and that only took about 5 seconds after I accepted.

So try making a new account.

probably more than your expectations … if you’r patient enough … cuz it takes time till you really understand pe … and after that your addicted … trust me i had my account locked for 2 weeks and didn’t find anything else to take P.E.'s place

Other than that you’re right, and it was my first choice to do so.

I can’t help thinking that there must be a problem right now, cause (from the programmers view) creating an account automatically is fairly easy, and shouldn’t cause any problems.

But as I see from other posts, it is a reaccuring problem, which should be addressed.

THere’s nothing worse than finding something that you want to do, and then creating and activating a simple account go wrong.

What do I then think of the rest of the game???

(just got confirmation mail for the last account created, YIPEEEE)

I’m now able to login at the website, and able to login to the game.

Everything is honkeydoddleday.

if you want to play this game for long time i advise you to use your name and adress and all personal data in the form … you can also change the data when you want by loging on the page …
