The economy of (L) and MU in entropia, what's on your mind?

So, with exceptional weapons, the ARIS weapon series and general actions made by MA we can see that
they try to push up MU on items by making the use of (L) more popular, which in itself is a good thing.
(And considering the shit storm they recently put themselves in I’d say they’ve actually been doing…
acceptable)
And if they could create an infinite demand for (L) items the economy would be easily fixable.
(To clarify the UL items do have and important place in this and this is in no way meant as a way to push
a fully (L) economy)

But as other things they just add more items to compete with the same depleting source of base item MU as
everything else already in the game.

So I’m asking, what would be your course of action for MA to increase DEMAND rather then SUPPLY of (L) items?
Bonus points for thinking long term, not just short term.
And would yourself deposit more to play in a way to support this?
How much much would this be?

I’ll go first.
A place where TT losses are invested in game shares and later on out of game assets.
Make the only loot there be unique deeds and shrap.
Use the returns in a split of deed buyback, deed payout and reinvestment.
Bonus if the area only accepts (L) items to be used.

I’d definitely be playing in such an area.
Depending on how it’s implemented I’d go from depoing 1-3k per year
to depoing up to 3k/month.

  • allow upgrading of any piece of gear, both (L) and (UL), using common, less common and rare materials from all three professions from adjusted all the way to perfected

  • introduce some way to tweak an item stats or add buffs (think alchemy or enchanting in many other MMORPGs) using common, less common and rare materials from all three professions

  • open up (C) customization for a LOT more items, if not all of them

  • introduce blueprint drops universe-wide for both hunting and mining, to encourage more players to start crafting, creating more demand

  • scrap space pvp entirely or restrict it to one zone like planetside pvp and allow more freedom of movement between planets (tons of work has been done on this front already)

the big problem is not to think of ideas, it’s about how to introduce any idea without impacting in-game balance too much

It’s not the economy that needs fixing for me to start spending more than 2-500 PED per week.

We’ve seen half a dozen patches for the brand new PP-lite in 2 weeks.

We have completely broken or missing content, and financially detrimental (to us ofc not them) bugs FOR YEARS that are not being addressed. New content breaks existing content? Who cares?

This issue must be fixed before I go from giving MA my “beer money” since I don’t drink, to anything substantial.
