There’s lots of theories and most of them have a bit of truth in them, but what’s important is to feel mining. If you don’t feel it you can only get lucky sometimes, if you do feel it you will know what, how and when to do

If you want profit however I suggest sticking to unamped/very low amps and plotting your finds over the continent to find where your most commonly recieving a good HR and then sticking to that location.

The best secret I heard some time ago and I keep on telling to others is:

1. buy a seeker
2. buy bombs / probes
3. go out there and mine
4. check how well did you do
5. go back to point 3

But the truth is you just have to try and find out what’s the right way yourself. I’m a miner, but being honest it’s hard to explain it, beause I feel what to do, when to do and how to do. I can’t pass that on others Aye, it’s kind of an inner miner I guess, can’t explain it better.
Knowledge is another thing, but you won’t get it unless you drop and drop and drop… then think about what you did, what did you get and make changes in the way you mine. Learn resources maps, memorise your hits, adjust to the mood of Lootius and carry on the dropping.

Spend few years with a seeker in your hand day by day and you will get it

My personal Mining “secret” has always been the same and it works for close to 4 years now.

it is based on 3 basic rules and one assuption I’m not afraid to share them

Rule 1 : Just drop your bombs and extract what you can.
Rule 2 : Try to remember your own “Hot locations”.
Rule 3 : Be sure that Towers & ATH’s are always for the others.

Assuption 1 : One day there may be bug in the system and you can be one of the “others”

You can chase all the crackpot theories about mining (loot for that matter) if ya like.

All I care about is markup personally because I am convinced you can’t beat the system. Assuming you can “find” big loots is people trying to beat the system. Playing the rce correctly and trying to get the most out of what you loot is the best way to win.

In other words get the highest average markup for each trip.

You forget that people expect EU to be their ticket to getting rich… or something. HOFs are like winning the lottery! You just need one and you’ll be set for life!

You are absolutely right. Markup is what’s going to make you the most profit. The game will try and make you break even (or take a loss) in terms of TT values. That’s how MA stays in business. The “secret” to mining is big markup.

I mined CND for ages - and I know about 5 towers that happened on 1st bomb outta TP. (never hapened to me)

So - go to CND, drop a total of 40 bombs (20 domes, 2 TPs each) […] :laugh:

LOL, you’d be surprised how many green dots I’ve actually seen already doing exactly that: enter dome, drop bomb, leave dome again! :yup:

If you are mining drink beer as much as you can!(JK)If you are drunk wont be afraid to drop enough bombs in same dome (location) what you need for full cover ,and you wont miss the double hits (often hofs).
Its not a theory ,but an advise

BAH here I wanted to post some theory BS and my personal opinions on the whole mining thing, which really does not matter, the quickest way to make PED and to get yourself kicked from the game are one and the same… exploit bugs :P.

If you do find a way to make PED, make it as quickly as you can, withdraw it and get out of Entropia before MA bans you. It’s that simple.

The only bug that currently really exists is the fact that if you change your real time clock, you can get the client to glitch, which means that it needs time as one of it’s inputs in order to keep systems running. Figure out a way to exploit that and you will have all the PEDs and hits with a banstick that you can possibly want..

Actually it’s your computers time. If you change it the client stops to work

secret no.3…alot of hits small and up in the same area
serendipity and perc plays a part too somehow and if you see ground assesment it also is something bigger around

You forgot to add: when you get nrf, rebomb it till you have no bombs on you - usually on 500th or 600th rebomb something big is hidden
