I’ve asked over 1000 players about mining, and I got 20 different BS tips about mining.All Random dropping Avatar based Bs even the mining map is bs.

Location location location…the freaken spots where the good big money making hits are…the stuff is in the same spot Ok i hit a amped not saying where went back there 2 more times and both times i hit an average amount. Almost right on top of each other!!!
It’s all random 
but I suppose that one location could contain large amount of resources one day, followed by the next, assuming the random number generator allowed it;)
lol mate, stop asking ppl how to mine - that takes too much time. Use that time to mine yourself and you will learn how to do that.
There’s lots of theories and most of them have a bit of truth in them, but what’s important is to feel mining. If you don’t feel it you can only get lucky sometimes, if you do feel it you will know what, how and when to do 
AFAIK there’s only one secret and is simply to keep trying. You won’t get anywhere by dropping 10 bombs and then complain about it. A normal run for me, when I on rare occations mine, is 200 drops and yes, I usually brake even. Imagine what you can do if you add some experience to that, fx. where the high MU stuff is and such.
You can chase all the crackpot theories about mining (loot for that matter) if ya like.
All I care about is markup personally because I am convinced you can’t beat the system. Assuming you can “find” big loots is people trying to beat the system. Playing the rce correctly and trying to get the most out of what you loot is the best way to win.
In other words get the highest average markup for each trip.

One of the secrets is that what works for me will not work for others necessarily.
You have to find what DOES work for you with your skills and your mining gear.
Then go find some decent mining areas and just mine.
Then you ask where are the decent mining areas… you have to find what works for you. And even then there will be good days and bad days
I hope this helps some. And there will be people who tell me ‘thats not any use at all, where can I go and mine at a profit’. Just remember … noone can tell you that, you need to find your own answers.
Location matters only for what materials are located in that area, you will get more or less the same average tt results no matter where (ofc except for private LAs which have taxes).

As far as I have seen, any resources the maps list do actually exist in those sectors. Occasionaly, not all are listed. If you are looking for exact coordinates - don’t be stupid, mining doesn’t actually work that way.

If you want help with mining, then there are plenty of ppl that can help you, but from what you wrote, you already asked 1000 miners (I should say: screenie or it didnt happen… Or at least tell me the nicks of half of them - otherwise I wont beleive it :rolleyes:) and all the things you’ve heared you call bs… This attitude wont take you anywhere - if you think that experienced guys tell you just bs, then please share your own wisdom with us…
Considering mining theories - I also dont think any of them is correct, but even from false theory you can actually learn something. If you dont learn anything, then the problem rater lies in you, than in the false theories If you received 20 different answers from those 1000 ppl you’ve asked, then I’d gladly see them in here - calling everything bs is just lame, but if you post those theories and show where they are wrong, then we all could learn something from it.
Concluding - post those theories, specify your questions, or otherwise it’ll be just another “buuuuu… I dropped 10 bombs and didnt find anything” whining thread

You can get 1milion tips about how to mine but, be sure for one thing. No one will ever tell you the secret you’re looking for. If you’re very observant/methodical/lucky you might actually find it by your self.

As for location, I got my second global and my first HoF within 100-200 meters of eachother about a week apart

I can help : i know a very good spot with 20 nice domes where you can ath dropping a bomb unamped at a tp…
I mined CND for ages - and I know about 5 towers that happened on 1st bomb outta TP. (never hapened to me)
So - go to CND, drop a total of 40 bombs (20 domes, 2 TPs each) and GET THAT TOWER already :laugh:
Look at newest ATH - unamped, first bomb outta TP.

This what you are talking about was actually partly true in old PE/early EU which had a system of locations. More to it - 2 miners running concurently could find the same “spot” and race to it, and find popped out when zou were 3m or less from it (you are prolly to young in EU to remember that feature).
But then MA changed it and now basically location means nothing except ore type that is present… TT is basically - a slotmachine mate.
