Talk about Scammers...:)

Elvis’ Car on EBAY

I have doubts that the car is the real thing, but I’m sure the seller probably has the paperwork to prove it.

Thing is,if it is the real, deal why make a fuss about it?

“My daughter hit the enter key by mistake…”

Ok…yeah right…lol

I personally use one of my cats as an excuse…

I’m sure that there is a confirmation on a buy it now, so must have pressed it actidentally twice

Just another reason for me to hate ebay. I stopped using it about 2 years ago when i had some scammer try to scam me out of a PS2 and 10 games (it wasnt even mine thats what made me nervous, selling for a friend.) By saying he never recd it. He told me this 3 weeks after i sent it out and had to furiously dig through my records.

He said he was going to report ME to ebay as a scammer. Until i pulled the tracking info (it was sent via USPS and there was no online way to check). Then it MIRACULOUSLY appeared!! Turns out his GF had picked it up and didnt tell him. Yeah right….

So now some poor schmuck has to dump several hundred thousand dollars on some old ass car that he doesnt want? Maybe his daughter did screw up. Its not like they dont market ebay to every idiot with a computer.

Yeah, i know there are warning etc saying binding contract. But honestly, I find this a bit silly. Relist it saying the previous buyer didnt come up with the money (all $245000 of it) cause he is a jerk, broke, idiot, etc… i really dont think the whole nonsaleable thing is true. I’m sure if someone wants elvis’ old ass car they will buy it.

Yup I agree :yup: … with this kind of cash there seems to be no other way. And indeed, selling online can never be 100% protected from morons, scammers or just little kids
