 umm err, u DO must know that your skills make big difference how many times u make maximun damage and and how much average damage u deal, also how well u hit the mob i.e. skills like aim etc.

am i missing a point in here?, yes spider can also miss u, if u have high evade or u are extremely lucky

The ā€œhit-boxā€ is sometimes even out off to one side of the mob. When tag a mob that’s facing the opposite direction of me, it has to turn around. Durring this time, if you leave your crosshais on it’s original position and fire, you will still hit it. Even though the mob is running in a circle and not even IN the hit box. It would be cool if this were true, but I don’t beleive it is. Though, if you Auto-aim the mob, it always places in the exact middle of the hit box…

I just shoot stuff in the groin because it’s funnier.

interesting guys, it kool see what u ahevto say. one of mates told me bout this thing with spiders, i tried it and it seemed to work, or it was a fluke

go hunt argos, kat-nip

In my experience, there is very little difference between evading big and small mobs ie. I have evaded a trox stalker long enough to TP away, yet tried 10 times to tp with a tantillion attacking me and gave up…

Killing spiders alone is easy, you just need to kill them close to a revive, with lots of ME and a fast longranged gun.

If you use software such as Sarah’s damage sampler or write your own then you can test with ~1000 shots on each part of the mob and find the average damage…

is there no humour in this forum or am i just strnge…

I like to think that your strange

There is only one hitbox, it dosnt matter if you hit the head or the chest..

If you dont agree i can point you to a good place to jump

the trick is to pogo dance in a perfect 89* angle while your friends carve avay with survival enblade 1 the spider will be annoyed by them trying to carve its hides but will be more impressed by the pogo just remember to check if the spider is male or female because male spiders tends to not like male pogo dancers

Well, some observations ive made

When it comes to araneatrox having a weakness, thats true.
If you stand aligned with the araneatrox, on the left side of its beak-thingie (mouth) with your cursor straight into the beak and make sure you stay as close as you can, the araneatrox has problems hitting you.
I didnt believe in that theory myself when i first heard it about 6-8 months ago, but after me and a friend tested it.. its true, it works.
Well, i should rather say, it DID work. Ive only done it a few times to check wether or not it actually works and to avoid getting killed. Its annoying to run back to the hunting grounds you know. Last time i tested the tactics was about 2 months ago and it seemed to work just fine at that time.

When it comes to making more damage to a mob than normal, i doubt it. However, there IS ways to make you hit the mob better.
I dont know if this is because of how the hitbox are aligned or whatever it is, but yes, aiming at specific areas on the mobs make them easier to hit. Longu used to be kneecaps, not sure if it changed lately.

Also, having hunted both small and big critters rather extensively, I have also noticed that bigger mobs that do more damage tend to hit less frequently. For example an atrox stalker tend to hit me less than atrox providers.

awww how cute, well if u like to imagine that, what i am to crush u, but my 2 years of hunting experience in PE i can say that, mobs have one hitbox only, it doesn’t matter what part of body u hit :kos:

imagination is nice though

after playing I think there is an few hit boxes at least two usually an upper and lower. the closer you aim to this better average shots. with a lot of lag have noticed that hit box was not even on the mob some times but all the way to the side of.
I do not believe that at this very moment WHERE you hit a mob matters one bit. Try standing dead still when being attacked, and swing your axe. You do not move up or down, you just swing at the mob standing directly in front of you. You will notice your damage results will be the exact same as when you move to different parts of their bodies.

I DO believe MA has things in place for the system you describe. Anatomy must serve some function
Well when I first started playing the hit box seemed to be stationary, but think the hit box now moves with the mob. so if you don’t move you will get good hits if on the box and bad hits if off the box.. I also think the new Crit. Hits are based upon if you hit the box dead on, then an % based on gun your chances for an ch.

Now back to topic.

before trying this , which I think is an exploit of the game , I would ask support… this type of thing can get you account banned and lose all your nice items if you have them.

That’s right. my two pecs:

 1. wear something better than noob orange suit, coz if spider will see noob dancing at 89* angle it’s can have a heart attack and die and u’ll not be able to loot it. Or it’s could even piss so @#$%^g much and make a small lake. Mobs r duying in the water.. u know..
 2. I prefer to dance that heavy stuff… even moved that icon to my quickbar…

ok game mechanics are such that this should work on ALL mobs IF it works on spiders. Try test it on some smaller mobs

indeed. I recomend test it on hogglo.

Based on what info?

And what info is that based on? The assumption that all mobs use the same template, without any modifications?

Noticed that some mobs do more damage than others? Some mobs does other damage types than others?
Just as the mobs have stats for damage and damage types, they can have stats for strength and weaknesses.
For example hit/critical hit stats, just like you will on a rifle.
Theres a whole lot of different attributes linked to items, mobs and avatars that we will never be told about by the game..

Hogglos has become very mean. They dont seem to know what a miss is anymore.. If youre able to find their weakness, Im sure there would be a lot of people around willing to test it…

the spiders seem to have caught on to our little advantage and have got off the juice and are back on protiene shakes…in non stoner language, afta dis VU me no evade big 8 legged thingy
