Just a little update, it seems MA caught onto what I was using to figure out mining. ITS BEEN TOTALLY CHANGED. I don’t even know how or where or even when but all my techniques have stopped working. My spiral and non-spiral ideas have stopped responding. Well MA you have screwed me over again. Thanks for the time we had, but really it’s time for me to take a little break. I will see u in a few months and I would encourage all the miners to do the same. If you do figure out mining out, MA are watching you and WILL alter it so that you cannot exploit it. What is the point of mining when the markup is so crap low ? Whats the point if the crafted items that player make do not live up to loots ? That’s very silly if you think about it.
All things must change I understand that, I just wish that I could make a few peds between the changes
dunno about ur theories ..but from a few other miners i heard that they are desperate..because of the reduction of the range of sight.
what i mean is that same as shopkeeprs you only see claims when u are 50-60 meters close which makes it really hard to know where to drop your bombs in a bigger matter

I told him the same thing , just to mine normally and I asked him what is the point in trying to figure the sistem out if the changes are too soon , at every new VU or even patch , but he seems to keep insisting on the spiral theory.
ive noticed this to, except the fact that the abundance of noobs is increasing leaving the spots all messed up… ive noticed that MA will depo alot of minerals everywere, but only drop the big ones in certain places regularly… this means that the spots that r told to noobs, travel, and leave it so tht all the key spot will be mined out… i remember when every time i mined north zues i was garenteed atleast 2 hofs :rolleyes: now im lucky if i hit once…
another issue is the lack of buyers… i end up selling stuff i could get 160% for, to zeno and may others for like 110%…its gotten to the point were mining got boring,i lose So much hunting, skilling is getting boring, and crafting u lose alot of money… i might take a break also…

But i heard (That means not its a Fact or i know it for sure) that manny Crafters and a few Miners take brakes because some Ore Prices are too high now and on other Side Miners Complain the Ore Prices dropping like Hell taking also a Brake :rolleyes:
We all know that , sometimes a Big BANG happen, a few Speculators lose lots of Peds and prices return to reasonable Levels where all can live with. :laugh:

Here you can read about them. R4t found out long time ago that the mining system is/was based on those spirals. It´s a bit compilcated but read it carefully and you´ll understand it without any problems. I´ve never seen any better miner then r4t so he´ll be back soon with some new fun posts to read!
i personally find it fun and amusing that MA is constantly changing the game, loots, mining, etc… would be rather boring if everything were as predictable as sliced bread … i would rather just play an XBox game personally if I wanted to know exactly what to expect

i have to agree here. the first few VUs i went through, i got PISSED that things were changing… wrote several whiney threads, thought about quitting, etc…
if MA doesnt keep changing the game on a constant basis, it will stop being fun (for us), and it will stop being profitable (for them).
Embrace change… if you cant get used to things constantly changing, you wont be happy here. its kind of like having the world change under your feet, and the laws of physics switching around, but what can you do? if you dont like it, vote with your feet. theres plenty of other people with bigger credit cards than you, ready to jump right in. MA wont miss you a bit. and I mean ‘you’ in the global sense, not directed towards any one person.
