First of all u cant declare a variable by calling a function. Second this integer need a container for the value returned since it looks like some kinda boolean function, third , this functions seem to need some kinda expression as input.
int $lootcheck = makeTonsOfNoLootersSpawnAllOverKalanen($MAgreedfactor)

This is C++/C#(notation on the variables (camel notation) hints that it is C#) but the coding is wrong, should be: (// means my comment(not compilable))
bool userKalanenHadHisDailySmallPedsOnlyGlobal ; //declared and initialized somewhere prior
if (userKalanenHadHisDailySmallPedsOnlyGlobal == true) {
bool shittyModeOnForKalanen = true; //coding is legal but not make sense(since the scope(life of variable) is only between {})
makeTonsOfNoLootersSpawnAllOverKalanen(); //int cannot be used here(function call)
}
else {
bool keepGivingHimAlmostBreakEvenLoots = true; //coding is legal but not much sense(see above)
}
