There is a small spawn of SnarkSnot Mature to Provider (mixed with snables of both sexes and fugabarba) near the lake west of Segna Forest, 182xx 444xx. Non-lootable PVP.

I’ve just been having a look round for them too. North of Camp Echidna is only for small ones but quite sparse and mixed with Plumas, which at least don’t aggro very much. I certainly wouldn’t want to spend a great deal of time hunting there. At least I got some more data.

Last time I checked, the spawn north of Fort Medusa (mixed with Armax) was still there, just a bit more to the west of the outpost and entropedia coordinates. (not on Caly, can’t check)

Waaaay back I used to hunt Snarksnots close to the Atlas Island North tp, not sure if that spawn still exists though.

I checked the old place yesterday and there was nothing there. I didn’t go further west though. Can anyone confirm what the spawn is like there now?

That is where the Snarksnot picture in the OP was taken btw.

As Armax is also an Iron challenge, its a good location for mission grinding IMO. :slight_smile:

yeah, if you haven’t finished Armax yet then this is probably the best spot currently available in the game.

Also, I should mention regarding the spawn list in the OP that it the longitude for one of the spawns is “2000”, I think it’s meant to be “20000”.

For the first and second co-ordinates there are some Snarksnot but they’re mixed with very dense Snablesnot as well as some Exarosaur and Merp, I was able to find some small pockets with mostly Snarksnot and a bit of Merp but nothing to write home about, to effectively hunt only or even primarily Snarksnot here I would have to jump in and out of my sleipnir over and over to get between each mob without getting zerged by merps and snables.

As for the third co-ordinates, the terrain terrible, it’s not very dense, it’s mixed with Plumatergus, and they’re all young/mature. I think this spawn is okay if you’re a very low level player and/or you’re interested in hunting Plumatergus.

edit: Actually found some high maturity Snarksnot inside of the low maturity spawn, and they get a bit denser, still mixed with the Plumatergus and small Snarksnot but I suppose this is probably the best spawn available at the moment then, and I appreciate the tip.

also, reward for prowler is 17 points, couldn’t find any stalkers but if I had to guess one might pop up from time to time with enough grinding in that little pocket of high maturity snarksnot
