OK heres my question ive got a good TP chip an i cant use it yet cos i need 13/14% skill progress to use it. so how do i up my skill progress to b able to use it. thanks in anticipation guys an gals 
There are manu skills invovled not sure of them all but i know of people with very good COS with no mind force skill but the mindforce realted skils that are usefull would be Concentration witch can be skilled up in useing a focus chip.
Iam sure other people will post with these exsperiance or theory to realted skills later on

just skill with focus chip, its going to cost alot to get upto 100% tho
just out of curiosity, can anyone decode what % actually means?
if i need to progress 2% what does that mean in any real numbers?
yes it seems mindforce chips uses many different skill, to calculate the chance of success. I myself uses a lesser TP chip and have execellent CoS, but my mindforce skills are pretty low. 
if anyone is interested in tracking down the related skills i’ll be glad to compare skills, to find out what makes CoS.
I thot it was purly psychotropy? I have poor on a medium TP chip but a friend who has about 200 more psy than me has execellent CoS on it
Yes I think it’s just psychotropy skill though not certain. But be warned: I skilled up with focus chip so that I could use a Moderate tp chip.
However even when you reach 100% you will still only be ‘Poor’ and tp miles away from where you want to go!
They are still very useful though to tp direct to any estates you own, you don’t have to be skilled to do this.
I don’t think it’s just psychotropy. I’m no expert, but I’m fairly certain other skills are calculated into the mix - think professional standings.

- psychotropy
- Intuition
- ??
if you skill with focus chip for a while youll probly see that you gain dex, bravado, intelligence, psycho, concentration, and what else is used, i dont know of yet. so yeah, chip dex and psycho or something. or just skill a million ME with focus chip =D i have good CoS on level 3 tp chip and my skills suck. i always do fine with the lvl 2 tp chip that i actually use (excellent cos). nothing to it but to skill for a while. when a chip says 80% progress, that means you have 20% left to go. you can see this easy enuf by skilling focus chip then checking high level chips on auction over time. your % on a level 5 chip or whatever will go UP meaning the difference is what you still have to accomplish. nothin to it, go grab a couple thousand ME and burn it up =D
today while skilling with focus chip, i also gained courage. add that to the list along with dex and intelligence and such =D
