Hopefully soon I’ll be able to afford it, but until then I was wondering if anyone could clue me in on how much a full suit of the Goblin armor would cost? Go to any town other than Port Atlantis, like Fort Ithaca, and right click the Auctioner. You will recognize the auctioner NPC by the fact that people always flock around him. Check the auction price for each armor piece of that type, and put it together. People sell parts for varied prices, but it’s not too expensive of a suit. I’d estimate maximm 100 PED total.

Oof! Killer for a n00b. Well, looks like I’m gonna be wallowing in buckets of sweat.. The five galon kind :laugh: Thank you for the info, I’ll make sure to check out the Auctioner.
I think 100 PEDs is a little high…my estimate (unchecked in game) would be 20-30 PEDs.
Now that sounds a lot better. I was dreading how much sweating that would take. :dunce:
you should get a full suit for no more than tt+15, i would think.
but, i haven’t been keeping up with the goblin market. a lot of people have tons in storage.
Someone offered me a Goblin Male for tt+10 So you can find it pretty cheap now. :dunce:

I’d save up for Rascal. I believe it is around TT+100 (someone correct me if I’m wrong?)
The decay is even lower on Rascal, plus it protects more. I’ve used it myself and it’s a great set of armor for hunting.

rascal can be purchased for around tt+55 or close to it now.
scythe, the tt value is dependent on each set of armor. most are not at full condition, so this value varies. that is why people say tt+.
although with armor, you should expect to repair it to full condition prior to using it. armor needs to be fully repaired to give you maximum protection.

are you hunting snablesnots? cuz that is what goblin is best used against. if you are not hunting snabs, just get pixie and when your evade gets around 200 then upgrade to the rascal.
I was told that it would be good to get th gob and get my evade up to about 200, and while I’m out there hunt the snables around camp pheonix. Of course not close to the TP, consdering I HATE when people kill monsters that could be used for sweat, hehe. Would pixie be a cheaper set to help get my evade up? I’m just trying to glean as much information as I can at this point, well because I’m just a: :newbie:

pixie should be a little cheaper, and it will give you the same results on most mobs.
goblin is good b/c it protects against acid damage…which snabs do.
you can work your evade on other mobs like combibo and exarosaur east and southeast of port atlantis just as easily as snabs.
pixie is also about the most efficient armor in the game for the amount of protection it gives you and its low low decay. there is a thread around here somewhere with all the armors listed out in it…

goblin is good though. i have a set myself.
A friend of mine hunted cornucudas with axes in goblin with no problem up to lvl 2800 in longblades. The impact rating on it can’t be beat 
Id go for Goblin and skill on snables for a long time until you get your skills up. Yes, pixie is a bit more economical but I think the noticable difference between the two armors make up for the difference. Goblin is very cheap too. I have both a pixie and a goblin for skilling but always use my goblin.

Rascal is your best bet all round 
Here is a link that someone had in thier sig. Its a very useful database of items and has pretty much all the items available.
It doesnt have the TT+ value check http://www.pe-trade.net for that. But it does have armor/wep/tool/attach/etc comparisons.
