Question regarding loot pills

Hello there!

I have discussed about this with couple people so far and it seem’s there is no definite answer to my question.

Been scrolling thro PCF but i haven’t been able to find thread that would contain this information.

Is Loot Collection Pill from trade terminal TT 00.50 or Frontier Stimulant Pill TT 00.01 from starter pack included in your TT input/output upon use?

Friend pointed out it is used from inventory so by that sense it should behave like any consumed transaction and be included.

These discussions sparked my intrest on the subject tho and made me think how many really are aware how much of extra cost TT pills will add to your hunts and are those returned in loot?

Example: I hunt roughly 150 hour per month active.

Frontier Stimulant Pill for 150 hours would be 00.03 PED in TT.

Loot Collection Pill for 150 hours 75.00 PED in TT.

To make educated decision to ever use TT pill or justify it. One would have to know if it’s included to tt value cycled and returned after “rake”.

So is it included or just extra fee for utility?

Could anybody point me to right direction here, or could @Ludvig|MindArk answer this?

Happy hunting!

there was a time when autoloot came standard with the free account. When MA had the brainfart to invent loot pills was a sad day in EU. I’m still mad at them. But I guess they had to think of something when someone caught them out for using our ammo when “auto tool use” hadn’t selected a target.

Thanks for history lesson, but it didnt answer the question.

Oh this is interesting. How do we think it would be returned though? Over time?

I guess one could eat a bunch of pills and go hunt the smallest mobs and track but I am not certain it is worth the effort.

I typically only use the TT pill if I don’t want to deposit since I get so many adjusted and augmented from strongboxes. The frontier pill comes with other benefits too so if you do deposit regularly I think you are better off buying the starter pack.

I know this didn’t answer the question either but it feels more natural to reply than to click “follow”.

I wish I were one of those people with to much time on my hands.

My toughts on this are tt value of pills aren’t decay so they are not returned in loot.
No tests done or anything to confirm or deny it.

Knowing and assuming are day and night.

Fair enough, but still no answer. ?

This is how i would view it too.

But i’d like to know for sure and not assume. ?

Yeah would have to be overtime. ?

I hope @Ludvig|MindArk could shed some light into this. ?

Just from a logical point (so this might also be wrong because of MA ?‍♂️ ):
[ul]
[li]as it decays while being used it should be returned in the loot and maybe behaves like (L)-gear that way[/li][li]they need to add all of it to the first loot while the pill is running[/li][li]they need to add the remainder of the TT-value to the first loot after the pill runs out[/li][/ul]
Why? Because MA can’t (and actually neither can you) know how many more kills you do before the pill runs out.

Therefore, an extreme test would be to consume a pill, do one kill, wait until it times out and do another kill.

Perhaps @Socrates|Mindark knows something about this or can comment? ?

This is why i assume it would be counted in as total TT in on consumption and no separation between kills. ?

Curious stuff ?

The loot pill from the site is much better because it give also 50% skill. Every time you buy set from the site you lose only 7 peds. Take that in consideration too. It will be 75 peds vs 21,9 ped  still insane good.

Yep ? that’s what i’v been doing so far. Till i get looting ring. ?

Atleast based on the known info right now.

IF TT pill used tt value is included and confirmed in total cycled i dont mind it, if not i will avoid them for ever. ?

Thanks for pointing that out, i had that info in orginal post but friend told me to clean it up. ?

I did a mistake tho its 50 h not 48 but still  75 ped vs 21.03 haha. For my excuse i only used 1 pill haha

Happens. ?

IF @Ludvig|MindArk and @Socrates|Mindark are too busy, perhaps @Nanashana could push this question foward?

I think MA once told us they are not returned in loot, but if you want to test it, it can easily be tested by unequipped armor, drag a mob to a turret to clear out any decay you have, consume a pill and then try to drag another mob to the turret.
If pills are returned in loot, the 2nd mob being turreted should give you a tiny amount of shrapnel.

If it would work the same as armor and healing yes. So far i have seen no evidence of this with turret method. ?

Wonder if all the pills work the same too. ?

Quite a hefty added cost. ?

Thanks for info! ?

You can’t loot a mob that was turreted, so the loot pill has nothing to do and shouldn’t decay, IMHO. The mob just drops dead and you get some compensation if you had decay or ammo costs.

That’s what i said. ?

Thanks for clarifying tho. ?

There’s no way to test this accurate or reliable by players.
