What exactly does the
Skill Gain - Yes/no (i think it is)
Experience Gain - Yes/no (i thiknk it is)
Sections on weapons mean ?
And can someone give me a general walkthrough on what the different sections in the weapon description mean ?
Most of them should be quite obvious i know but it never hurts to get a proper explenation on it hehe

SKill gain -yes/no is basicaly if you get a skill bounes from sueing the weapon
dont recal the xperience gain though but im still a nooblet
the skill gain yes/no…is …if you have enough skills to use that weapon…(yes)you recive a bonus…that means you recive more skill by using that weapon…if it is no…it meas either you don’t have suficient skills or you have 2 many skills and you will not get the bonus…that means less skills
Try holding the cursor over the fields you would like an explanation of - MA has made a precise and exact help text for each section… well no, it’s neither precise nor exact but it will give you a hint
skill gain: yes/no..
If it say “Yes” you get extra skills for using it (presumably, i dunno since i never got to use a weapon i wasnt too skilled yet to use) “No” means your too skilled to get the skill bonus and have maxed it out.
If it says “Never” by skill gain then it is an old gun put in the game before the most recent VU (like 7.7, 7.8 or so )
If it says “Not Yet” then its a new gun that is too advanced for your skill level to use effectively
The other stats are pretty much self explanitory and/or MA has put a bit of info if you hover your mouse cursor over it.
But all in all it tells you how much ammo it will consume, what is decay class is.
(decay class goes form fragile to exceptional) when searching for a weapon anything with a decay class of “good” and above means it usually has decent decay. the ideal decay class for us players is “exceptional” the ideal decay class as far as MindArk is concerned is “fragile”.
It tells what kinda of damage the gun issues and how much of each damage.
It tells what your damage interval is both the very minium you can expect to hit somethign for and the maximum you can hit somethign for (it does not say how much max damage you get in a critical though, that has the potential to be double the max damage listed in the info)
It tells you the range interval based on your skills both the minimum level of the maximum you can get for your skills as well as the absolute maximum range for the gun. (you can shoot up to the maximum range, but your more likely to miss if it is above the range for your skills).
And it tells you your hit chance and crit chance on a scale of 1-10 with that gun.
From my experience with an opalo i do seem to hit more often with it than i do with other guns and i do seem to get crits a little bit more often. but its hard to notice sometimes.
So far I think there are only 3 ranged weapons that give skill gains and bonus’. Two of which are the TT guns, the Opalo and the M2100. The third one is a crafted weapon, the Montgomery Anabolic(L). At least those are the only ones I have noticed in auction and in the TT that give the bonus. I know that the TT long and short blades also give skill bonus’.

The melee TT weapons do indeed give skill bonuses. The only other thing that gives it is the Nano Katana(L). I’m at just over 1k longblades and I’m still no where near to getting the skill bonus yet. (You know you get the skill bonus when it says 100% in the info entry.) Doesn’t stop me from wanting one. They provide more of a punch than my Katsuichi does and that’s saying something.
