i need to know if there is a way to diable the music in pe because i was playing and went to open my inv and the game froze so if someone out there know wat to do please tell me
I am trying to find this out too, because there appears to be 2 sets of music being played - changing music volume only turns one off.
I would also like an option to turn off those annoying voiceovers, they are cool for the first 2-3 times but the novelty wears off very quickly.
The voice overs are a nice idea but they need more selction played less oftern. So maby MA should spend there time working on something else.
Iām afraid I completely agree. I normally play with the music volume set at zero, and I listen to a DVD, or the radio or TeamSpeak or something. I was surprised to notice that when I logged into this VU - my volume slider had been set at maximum, and the music dont go away when itās set at minimum.
I suppose the music Iām hearing could be classed by MA and not music, but atmospheric sound effects, and so not affected by the music setting. Fine, itās still a little annoying.
I suppose the game needed this so Iām not gonna say that it sucks, some people, especially first time players, may like it. Iād really like to be able to turn it off though.
The more cynical side of me is thinking that MA have gone to all the effort making these noises, knowing that people will turn them off after an hour, and so theyāve made it so they cant be turned off. The more hopeful side of me says itās just an oversight and will be fixed soon. :dunno:
I will not suggest or endorse deleting the related mp3 files as a fix 
Canāt you put it of by disabling the sound in the client? :wise:
I like the music on the background.
I agree they should make a switch to turn it on/off though.

yea hitting options on the Client Loader. I guess they wanna hear the gun fire just not the music. I agree would be nice to be able to disable one and not the other as putting the volume down means that it is still running just you canāt hear it. So more sound options would be nice like disable voices disbale music disable gun fireā¦

That will work of course, but I find it useful to hear the sound effects ingame, like if you are mining and stop paying attention to the radar for a moment, sometime you can hear a mob in the distance, which can help!

Maybe IKEA wanted the ability to broadcast ingame audio advertising, before they let MA have the liscensing to the Ikea line of furniture.

I find the new voice overs amusingā¦ but as I always have winamp going I can never actually make out what the voice is sayingā¦
And yes, most definitely I would like the ability to turn the switch on all in game soundsā¦ I agree that it is quite useful to have many sounds when hunting/mining, but sometimes I just want the game to be silent so I can listen to winamp and relax a bit
