pvp3

were are all the ppl in pvp3 these day’s?
are there anyone of you still out there?

I’ve been there today and met alot of diffrent people the both mining and hunting miners. There are still people there just go and have a look. If you doesn’t find anyone make yourself a nice and peaceful mining trip in exotic red circle.

Hmm there are some changes that make at least mining in pvp3 less interessting.

  1. You can not move and defend yourself when hitting T

  2. you can not avoid the slowdown from ores anymore by not closing the loot windows

  3. there is still all risk on the miners side because the hunters dont lose something interessting when get killed.

There are more reasons against pvp3 mining than pro Reasons for me.
People got some very decent loots by killing me in pvp3 so they can not complain about it was impossible to get a miner bevore. I had never a problem to get pked in pvp3 and lose ores close to a global. I knowed the risk and agreed by entering. The Right use of Teleport chips and teaming up was the key to take a miner down. But now i dont feel in the mod anymore to make the victim for pvp3 Pks. The chances was slightly better for the running miner but they had more to lose as the hunters. Now its just a mess with mutch refining short mining trips mutcho teleporting back to depod.

Well..

The very REASON you cannot move while hitting the T button is that it was abused in pvp zones and when people got attacked by creatures.. You can however heal..
If you want a quick out.. just get a TP chip..

I know that, i just stated my reasons why im not interessted in pvp3 mining atm. The not moving while T its not even the main reason. More the Slowdown from the ores. Im not playing the Turtle for some ppl with Ml35 and better. who would drop … nothing exactly when they get killed in pvp3. It was hard enough to escape them with full speed when they had longrange weapons and teleport chips.

Thats no whining. Im fine with this changes, just not interessted in pvp3 action anymore.

Edit :
I know you get always loot
but its a difference you get 1 - 3 ped from killing a hunter or 30 ped from killing a miner  Topic is, where the ppl in pvp3. So if you still around give a sign and bash duli next time you see him :tongue2:

Hunters DO drop stuff..

Well, ive seen hunters drop a fair few decent loots in pvp3.
Of course, you have to make sure to kill them after they have hunted/killed someone else tho.
Also, you will ALWAYS get loot from killing people in pvp3, as youll get minimum the price of the antitoxic shit.. i mean shot

Well most times when I got to pvp 3 there are no miners.. I mean there are usually no other players that I can see :frowning: maybe just bad timing on my part

ive been thinking, (it was hard and very time comsuming). and if u just got a HoF in PVP3 when u suddenly see a green dot on ur mini-map, insted of quickly presing T, you COULD just press ESC and wait 20 seconds, and have a better chance, than waiting the 60 seconds. you could just log in later and press T when noones round. just a thought, kinda a exploit…

I can just imagine when the whole of amethera is like pvp3…
I don’t like the idea of getting looted, but i think its more realistic, and would cause people to work together…miners work with hunters to look after them…and other hunters work together to pk the miners… could make for some interesting battles, and people acting as decoy’s etc etc.

;D

What´s that to do with PVP3 killings Duli?

a bit too large picture I´d say

hehe…
it actualy say “im ready for you” :stuck_out_tongue:
but it’s abit unclear i see now

maybe he got killed in pvp3..and he lost something

Question.

As I’m yet to visit a PvP area, I’ve got to ask: whats the main benefit of killing people there? Can I take it that if you’re killed, you can lose EVERYTHING on you except your PED card?

Or do you gain better skills from killing people than mobs?

In the regular PVP areas the only benefit is more or less to be able to kill people that annoy you i guess.
When the pvp zones was introduced the loots there was supposed to be better and the mining deposits richer, but that doesnt seem to be the actual way it is.
However, PVP3 (The pvp zone where you need a antitoxic shot) is a lootable PVP area where you can loot people you kill.
The things you can loo there is:

  • All stackable items except PED and ammo that you bring into the zone
  • All things you find IN the zone.
Which means, if I find a 3000 PED iron deposit in there, i can get killed and the one that kill me will loot my 3000 PED of iron.
If i kill a creature in there and loot an Improved Mk.II they can loot the weapon from me.
If i bring 10 000 ammo with me into the area and get killed, the one that kill me can NOT loot my ammo.
They can not loot any weapons, armors or other non-stackable items you BRING INTO the area.

Unless things where changed think if you loot an item like an weapon that item can not be taken away from you .. but did leave game for an while and came back..

When I was an yonger player and got my frist hof in pvp3 I was latter killed.. I rember losing my hides but not the item that I looted.. but that was an long long time ago

dont see it as abuse at all:

Pk hope/know that their skills and equipment are superior to the ones they shoot - looking for a quick fun and profit.

former way of dropping them off the tail “hitting T” was a bit of a compencation that made a somewhat fare game.

now… it is like giving a robber big knucles and speed at the same time nailing the victim/miner to the ground.
