Now this may be crazy but I have just started playing this great game and I would like to know if its possible to buy some property?
Now I know there are different types of sales - Appartments, shops and land etc but what are the “Ballpark” figures for these sales?

A good LandArea might be around 200-300k. Or even more.

Apartments go from 200 - several K´s of peds depending on size and location.
Shops i would say 6 - 20k peds.
Landareas not less then 250k peds but depending on area and availability 300 - 400k peds.

So you cant get any land for less than $20k USD?

The only thing that gives constant income is a well managed LA with people hunting and mining on it.
Or a shop selling items that noone else is selling or for a better price.
Apartment = storage basically. ( Especially important on Club neverdie because no storage is available ).

Actually you get to own a little piece of land if you buy a house… It got no function except that you can place objects around your house. There are some on the market now and then, prices go from 4k to 10k PED or so…

The only thing you can actually own, to just own it, is a appartment, and they don’t cost awfully much, but still again. Location decides much of the appartments cost, and there is also a monthly fee.
Shops cost quite a bit, but I can’t understand why you want a shop, since you have no items to sell? :scratch:
So a shop would just cost you some peds every month, and that wouldn’t gain you much.
The reason for why a Land Area cost that much, is that it’s a (almost) guaranteed income, every day, every month!.. So owning a Land Area is really great and that’s what everyone in Entropia wants, therefore comes the price as well. A land area has to be bought by another player, and you can’t own parts of it, so you have to use at least 20k$ (I think at least 30k..) to own a land area yourself..
So, actually, the only property you can buy in this game for a cheap price is an appartment, but that one would be empty, since you don’t have any items you can place in it.. Yet..

Maybe this can help
if u looking for an area for urself this are the following options
Landarea, Shop, ShopBooth, Landed Property, Apartments and Hanger.
This are the only few choices that gives u an estate deed to call it ur own.
landed properties ranged from 6k+++. the last piece of landed house sold earlier was around 7500peds++ if i’m not wrong and also about landarea, if a spaceship happens to land inside ur area of ur landed properties, it cannot be looted, unless mindark changed that already.
or u can try apartments, which also have ur personal space but not land.
and all this mentioned is ranged 400peds +++
there’s also another way to own a piece of ur own, it’s call buying pets.
alot of those petowners been leaving their pets here and there to 'claim" a spot for themselves. however those pets wouldn’t last long and the do nothing atm.
