Is there any website which has a FAQ list on Project Entropia, cause I haven’t found any…
Based on that, I am making one myself, though I am looking for administrators who want to update and manage that list based on questions they have been asked by ppl.
I am looking for 5 à 15 people who are interested in joining this project and will add question and answers on a regular basis (when it occures).
People who would best fit this job are : ppl who play PE on a regular basis or are social engaged or are administrators or moderators on a PE related forum / website.
Is that updated on a regular basis by several people or just 1 or 2 persons who run the site, casue I think that’s the main difference.
I haven’t looked throughout, but on first hand it seems you can’t add a question .
Being able to add answers by 5 à 15 people seems better then by one person, that’s the reason why I’m looking for ppl.
People as such cant directly add questions… The usually use the feedback formulars to ask something.. and if we think it needs to be on the page.. we write an article about it.. currently there is over 200 articles on the page…
Its just me and Dirk who are working on the site…
Would you have it on your page so people can directly ask questions.. and then the “mods” can answer them.. and if so.. wont it more or less be a forum ?

Ok.
The difference between a forum and Faq are that a forum is bi-directional communication all-time, while a faq is a one time bidirectional communication where ‘knowledge’ is more important then ‘personal point of views’.
Although a Faq list is based on question and answers given in for example forums, articles etc… but without all the extra text, to the point as you could say.
anyway,… if it’s not a good idea, the delete button is not far away :laugh:
Ps.: In the example of my FAQ site, a visitor is able to add a question, in the event the administrator in the given category gets a message (or if it’s an administrator of all categories.)
But… come work with us on PERC instead of making 100 of “specialized” sites arround the web…

But as you propose yourself… and it’s a great idea to integrate it into PERC (or Entropia Forum :p)
