When I’ve sold to anyone other than my mentor, I was given 2.2 per unit.
I keep seeing higher than this mentioned on the forum, but nobody ever offered more in the game (apart from my mentor, bless him).

Cheers,
Virnai.

-0.02 pecs per bottle

that’s what it says.

Buying sweat -0.02PEC a bottle @ TP!

It just doesn’t have the same ring to it…:dunce:

I used to keep all my sweat until i find someone buying it at 2.5 … but it’s getting very rare , now (even if i found one this weekend). Must be due to the number of noobs (including myself) that joined PE recently …

btw , the more you gather , the more you’re paid… Still lot of people buying 1K+ sweat at 2.4

Sweat used to be far harder to get from mobs, and it sold for 1 PEC a bottle.

I so apologise… I’ve been snowed in by rl work :computer:, so I’ve been putting off correcting the Sweat price calculation. It’s currently trying to get to my home computer to update itself, but my home computer is not involved with syndication any more.

I’ll have the recommended Sweat Price calculation back up and running soon . :dunce:

To anyone watching this thread, just an update. The Recommneded Sweat Price (RSP) is now again automated.

The RSP now reads the values of the current price of NEX and ME straight from data feeds on MyTwoPecs.com.

The Price of Sweat

Too bad this isn’t on the cover of the PE launcher, I think this would help quiet alot of the in game noise (which really gets annoying).

Just a thought, could we have a graph of the price through the last quarter/year?

Hi,
Actually, the graphs for ‘abstract’ game concepts (like price of Sweat, price of Dung, price of a full suit of Nemesis Armour, etc) has been completed. This code is just not implemented, as it needs some additional work which I’m currently completing.

Most that have followed the original MyTwoPecs.com concept threads, would have heard this before.

About this sweat price actually appearing on the client loader :stuck_out_tongue: is perhaps a bit premature. This small formula, is only the second small version, and no one has challenged the core of the calculation yet. The only items usually being challenged, is the price of NEX, and the price of ME.

For this though, the argument is always that Sweat as a very volatile concept, needs to be indicated on the most recent sales (say ‘Last 10’) and not the ‘safe’ Last 50 sales averages. I think, once the abstract game items are charted and visible for all to see, that then only should people take the RSP seriously. For the moment, it stays a ‘Recommended’ Sweat Price, and it’s only the opinion of MyTwoPecs.com. Most traders will choose their own price, and rightly so, as the RSP is only a guide for an immediate glance at the current market mood.

Before the first of January 2006, the new MyTwoPecs.com big version will be upgraded. By then, the full spectre of the market place will be visible. Therefore, abstract items and concepts will then only be taken seriously.

Ok i know this is a month old but yesterday i saw someone buying at 1.5-6 and others selling at 1.7-8,

The price of sweat varies a lot it went up when MA stopped trapping and is now (it appears) on its way back down. Most people when asked will give a rough price of sweat but this is only relevant maybe to that day or that weak well you get the idea

the best way is to check around before selling or buying to see what others are selling/ buying for at that time

Hope this helps regards
