pre-newbie questions

Hello, i startet Project Entropia two Days ago.

i still paid nothing for the game, because i want to check out how the game works and if it could be a game for me. But if its good, i would like to pay 5-10 € a Month (just like in other MMORPGs).

but first i have a few Questions:

  1. the Money seems to be THE element in this game, everything is about money and economy. Is there no other Topic in this Game? Whats about the Social-Issues like in similar Games? Maybe, i got a wrong impression due to the fact i am just able to “explore” the tiny odd newbie-area on Eudoria.

  2. Money again, i already read in this board that there are players who spend up to 45 Pounds(!) a month… is this really neccessary to enjoy this game?
    And what would be, if i would spend just ca~ 10€ ? Still a live hunting Dinosaurs in colored Armor?

  3. My english must be really bad :frowning: (i am german, but i really try to develop a good english) … is there any kind of german Community in this Game?

edit: 4. i paid about 5,40 PEDs for a Jester D-1, after the trade i saw the gun needs to be repaired for again 3,80 PEDs … was this a good deal? I fear not :confused:

Project Entropia is what you do in it.
There are ppl who spend thousands of USD in a few months and others who don’t deposit a cent.

Many ppl do some investments in the start and play for 10-20 USD each month later. Investment is to build up some equipment and a buffer with ammo.

The excellent thing about PE is that you can also try the game for free. Also that you can spend as much or as little that you find ok.

The sosial part of the game is great! There are a lot of different societys to join and many of the RL countrys are represented. These forums are also a great part of the social structure of the game.

You are able to exlore every square cm of the planet Calypso’s both continents right from start, you are not bound to stay i Port Atlantis or what ever town you landed in. Just make a run for it. “Run Forest, run”!!! Explore!! Meet people!!! Get a menthor!! :slight_smile:

10 euros per month is a good start. It’s not neccessary to deposit more in the beginning. I mean, if you later decide that this wasn’t the game for you, you haven’t really lost that mouch. :wise:

Oh no, my interface & control panel is gone :frowning:
I cant find out which key does it toggle on again and its impossible to ask someone ingame cause the chat is gone too.

How can i switch on the HUD? :frowning:

Press O to see all key settings :wink:

V will get you your HUD back, B your quickbar :slight_smile:
