With the liquidation of BIG Industries we saw SSI and the weekly events disappear from most planets, including Next Island.
The weekly events used to be a fun highlight of the weekend for many and my hope was to be able to bring that back with funds generated from ticket prices in order to attend.
These events are entirely non-profit. All of the money generated from these events are going into future events, bear in mind that not all of the money made from one weeks event may carry over to the next as some may be put aside in order to secure the longevity of these events.
The rule-set for each event is voted on by the community in the Next Island Discord thus making the event more dynamic and fun.
The event is already up and running so please make sure to check it out under the Global event list.
