I’M IN LOVE! :inbed:

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I must now elaborate…

I just got back from the screening of Serenity, a movie by Joss Whedon creator of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel. He created a sci-fi show about two years ago (give or take), called Firefly but it only ran one season before being cancelled and they never got to have a finale. The thing is, it has since collected a rather large group of followers. It has nothing to do with vampires or demons or other such things, but is in fact a hard core futuristic science fiction movie, and a damn good one at that! On September 30th, the completed movie (a long awaite season finale, so to speak) will be in theaters, and I HIGHLY recommend anyone who likes sci-fi to see it! A great mix of drama, sci-fi, and just enough humor to keep it going.

I’ve heard that judging by the response to the movie, they may bring back the series. The box set for the one season is on the top 10 selling at Amazon.com. It’s not there for no good reason. If by chance you can get ahold of a copy, do so! Check it out, and get hooked yourself.
