Ok guys, with the new fishing and cooking update, Tree products ( longboards for rod crafting ) have gained a little more importance in the game, however, there is also another reason you should be cutting them and that is for resource gathering skills such as Animal looter! Here are two of our earlier videos that cover this. The first one covers cutting trees and an example of where this can be done with no mobs to contend with. The second is a follow up that goes over how to mix tree cutting and hunting to enhance the skill gains you receive doing this.
