Over the years i have been mining some, but i was mainly a hunter. Since the end of 2021 i have fully focussed myself on mining and having fun doing so. I like playing with numbers, trying to understand the mining system and the market.
Why this thread?
First and foremost as a motivation to keep on going, keep on learning and improving. Apart from that, to share what is possible (or is not possible) to achieve as low level miner. I will keep on track of amount of drops, hitrate, TT return % and average markup %.

I will keep logging monthly for now, the logging and/or information shared may change if i feel like it.
Well first month in and am suprised by the results. Got lucky getting a nice 1447 PED hof, but even without the hof TT return is at 99,6%. Don’t expect the TT returns to stay like this, but nice to have a good start.
Have been exploring and trying a lot of new/unknown area’s, mapping the planet. Markup can improve because of this but i see mapping as a good investment. For the next month i will try to both improve hitrate and avg markup.
Very nice. Did you have any other globals or hofs? Also would be interesting about rares if found any ? (E.g. redulite, dunkel, ruga etc.) Anyhow nice post. Keep good work.
Yes, had quite a few globals (and 2 more small hofs)
For rares, just a few ped worth of Redulite (not been searching for it), no Pyrite. I did however found quite some Lumis and Cave (although those are not that rare, mu is good)
Just checked out this log. Grats on crude HOF!! Are you still mining on Arkadia?
I also just started mining on Ark, only enmatter no ores. Hopefully you’ll continue on your log.
