Major Sci-Fi Movie of the year?

Blockbuster movie with tie-in to Alien…

Since this is Ridley Scott - I almost have no worry, and I think that it will be a minimum GOOD sci-fi.

If this fails - I still have hope: Rambo V. Not sci-fi ofc, but as a old good, hardcore movie.

“In space, no one can hear you scream.” I hope, no one will be silent in cinema.

Looks mint that, cant wait now

Also looks good with “Noomi Rapace”, main actress in the original Swedish version of the Millenium Trilogy (“The Girl With A Dragon Tattoo”). Looks indeed interesting

It looks like someone took Alien and AvP, put it in a mixes and got this. Both alien series and AvP(one) are great movies… combined…? No so sure.

Im hoping Battleship, will be half the movie Independence Day was…

first announcement of neuromancer movie was in 2009 with a release date in 2011 :wtg:

Please, please dont ruin this. I’m hoping it will be different to the 1990 one somehow and maybe closer to the original story (so that I can like both versions).

Well it sure isn’t John Carter

Film critic Mark Kermode reviews Disney’s John Carter

but when I heard that there was a new Alien movie with Ridley Scott directing I was very excited.

My only reservation is in the hope he’s stood up to the studio and hasn’t allowed them to force unnecessary 3d effects on him and like Mega that it’s a closer to the original than the later ones.

This seems too me very original too.

(Iron Sky 2012)

today i read a very, hmm…, not very enthusiastic review about this one.
3.5/10
the hype and community effort was immense, everybody was so expectant of this and in the end it turned out a meek version of a nasty flick we all expected.
note: i havn´t seen it yet, it´s what i read earlier while waiting for a train ;)

once more hype and the goal to adjust to a mainstream crowd made some unseen/great idea a flop?!

i never beleive reviews… if i did i would of never seen Last Action Hero which was bagged something chronic by the so called critics but i loved every minute of it.

I also never comment on a movie unless I myself have seen it  Trailers look good.

yea, i know what u mean butch.
but these trailers look somewhat too good to be true, it´s not only the looks which make it a good movie
and i read it in one of my favorite mags and these guys usually hit it about right :ahh:

btw i totaly agree with u about last action hero, awesome arnie action :yay:
