There have been the odd comments about this subject, both good and bad.
What do people really think of the clothes in PE?
I would like to know peoples thoughts on this.
Do crafted clothes look better or worse than looted ones? or are the best clothes available tt from shops like at jason and hades?
I just saw these on auction and don’t see any connection to anything in PE and these pants - I’m also scratching my head about the price of them. Do they contain 10k oil or something??? Or is the crafter just exploiting people?
the crafter probably spent thousands of peds to get that bp and is trying to get some of it back. There have always been people in PE who want to be the first to have everything, and if they’re willing to pay those hard spending crafters and hunters some extra I don’t really see a problem.
[edit]and yes, the fashion designers at MA are pretty strange, but this is supposed to be a futuristic game and they sure don’t look like anything people would wear today :silly2:
as far as I know, they use quite high amounts of gold to make those pants. If Im not mistaken.
And why shouldnt it relate to PE? Its a international symbol Music. We have music in PE right? I think its nice to see some symbols on clothing now
My view on this is that the pants are probely very exspensive to make and aquire the Bp there for it is logical that the price will be high, also as said before new items always sell for lot more when they are new and rare but dont neccaceraly hold there value.
Rite back to main topic then, I think the route that MA have chocen to take on the cloths is the rite one, they are not trying to re-create cloths you would wear in real life but rather create a kina PE fashion. Altough that said there are some cloths in Pe that i would never wear in PE or RL like those spotted pant realy what was MA thinking.

wanda, keep in mind it IS chanel were talking about…
ive always wondered why, if so many buttons go into clothing, you never see them? i mean, plain shirts in this game are some of the most gawdawful things ive ever laid eyes on  and i guess collars dont exist in the future… maybe they blow around in space?
i like PE pants though… then again, its hard to mess up a pair of pants lol…
crafted clothes should not look better or worse than looted clothes, imo they should just look ‘different’… When something crafted is made & colored by a skilled person, you will get nice quality clothing aswell…
This particular pants look kinda funny too, I bet some ppl will bring a smile on our face with their funny looking outfit
i think the clothes are really strange in this game, tho some are nice. I mean who would buy some of them hats in real life? lol alot of the clothes i wouldnt even consider buying just because of the look. Id like to see a few t-shirts with logos on like the ones in the lootius post, in game, or maybe a some hoodys or even a ski mask or bandanas or loads of other cool looking bits of clothing.

Personally I agree…I think it would be great if a tailor could reach a certain level where they could actually create unique logos/initials/pictures to go on clothes… that would be great if at all possible
I have always preferred, for the most part, the old looted clothes which is what I stick to… but that’s just my preference

essi dress… neas armor… soon, mudkicker boots…
I hunt, do mining and buy all tailoring materials from soc members to make cloths. I started with the T-shirt (so I hunt molisk almost every day). I know I’m a newbie with only a lvl 53 and BP lvl 25 in it, but I still keep losing about 5-7 ped when I try 100 times (and that’s because I buy at TT value, otherwise I would loose more).
I will not give up untill I reach BP lvl 100. What do I do then?
Keep on trying the same or lvl 2 T-shirt, or, the shoes and the pants from lvl 1 also?
How come some people Hof all the time when crafting clothes?

GL to all of you.

Looking from your skill, you should possibly try easier clothes (LVL1 blueprints), you’ll get a higher CoS and therefore loose less, especially if you are buying from your soc at TT value, and you should gain skills too. Try see if you can buy a BP with a high quality rating from the auction, it will save you a lot of money, and you can allways resell it when you get too skilled.
Some people are HoFing all the time because they craft very difficult items, and are very skilled, so every time that they make one, the TT value of it is above 50PED, enough to trigger off a global message and often put them in the hall of fame. (people such as Starman, previously Chanel, and in the future Etopia)
