What is up with the lame level of loot after the last patch. is MA just trying to get us to put in more cash? you can’t hunt and even break-even.

You need to hunt more…
On a small hunt…loot is bad, but as you hunt for longer it improves…
Rather don’t take less than 50ped ammo on a hunt… 100ped and up only…
Exactly man, hunt more. The more ammo you take out with you, the longer you will be, and the greater your chance is for multiple hofs and globals.
I take 100k ammo on a run. I find it is the perfect number, doesnt make me too heavy, and I can finish it in under 3 hours (usually with these evasive globals 
), and can go out and do it again.
I am curious how much ammo you are taking with you. And I really hope you are not one of those ppl who check how they are doing after 30 ped of ammo used, see that they have 10 ped loot back, panic, and quit hunting, only to come post here

1000PED ammo under 3 hours, wow you must been a manaic when you hunting ,) 100PED ammo takes 1 hour for me, 10kg, 1000PED= 100kg, well you have the skills to bring it with you ,) well 300PED ammo is a perfect number, if you dont get a global within 300PED ammo, hunting in that such area is often unprofiteble if you dont have a improved justifer Mk2 ofcourse

I spend 90 ped repairing my valor.. 70 ped reparing 10 Axes..
Thats 160 ped.. another 10 on my rascal thats 170..
i go out wita a little gun.. Solomate opalo3.5.. 20 ped ammo..
thats 193.5
- 50 ped on my fap..
Thats 243.5…
With what in loot.. 50 ped..
Its rediculous..
Thats why now im skilling and crafting on my fap and armour making..
MA.. if loots dont get better Cya. ive spent over 1.5K ped in this game..
Ive had 2 hofs.. 1 Megan worth 55 and an Iron worth 136ped.. 1 global.. Cumbriz worth about 53 ped.
Take Noman.. spent 100 ped.. got like 1 ATH 30k 2x 2k peds and 1k ped hofs..

If you dont feel breaking even in hunting ,dont hunt more…just stop hunting for a while and try mining.Maybe your avatar has hidden abilities in mining more than hunting.

Well lately I been going out with the following for my hunting trips.
weight seems to be ok at 130 to 145.
(Last mining trip added 200 bombs and was still ok at 160)
Light weapon cells primary gun Modified Mercenary 30,000 ammo I use it all up, dont come back till its all gone
I usually go on like 4 to 6 hunts like this per day.
Used to keep more but find this amount works well with my amp.
Then I fix up amp full and go back out again with new ammo.
Medium weapon cells for pull gun and long to meed range (m71a2) 20,000 ammo. This ammo don’t use all up, so far the biggest hunt used about 5k of.
Well that seems to be my current hunting set up.
Oh not that this should affect things but I do keep just in case 20,000 blp med ammo on my mod 117/35me just in case
so total ammo I go out with is 30k,20k,20k for total of 70,000 ammo
these days i go out with either 300 ped ammo, or 400 ped ammo, one of the two. i use doa rockjacker (i was a pistoleer for a while so its ‘normal’ for me to run up to mobs and start shooting) but i keep my amp off it. im sure i dont do anything that other ppl dont do.. tho i do try to keep track of what loot im getting and when.. and how many times around its been since loot was good.
yesterday i ran around with my 400 ped ammo on small bots.. only used ~260 ped ammo, made about 10 ped tt value in profit against the ammo used, didnt use fap at all except like twice, and armor decay was 5.xx ped. got a gsi too so that put me ahead.
you just have to keep shooting.
Theres always going to be a random element to the loot, but I do hope that MA will keep a good balance between average loots and massive HOFs. If they go to far in funding the major loots by diminishing the average return casual players see on a few hours of hunting they may end up losing some of them.
To do well you have to spend a significant amount of time hunting or get really lucky. I’m not saying thats good or bad, just they way it seems to me right now.
I think you all are looking at this the wrong way. Hunt smarter not harder. Since the last VU I have been using the Opalo(2 burn, 3 with amp) and M2100(1 burn, 2 with amp) to skill with and guess what, against smaller mobs 40ped in ammo has guaranteed me a return of my ammo cost + most of my decay from my armor and amp back. Maybe thats why my last deposit has lasted for almost 2 weeks with little to no real lose of ped.

lol. I dont think I would gain quite as much skill a day if I used the Opalo
But yes, a few months earlier (pre-skillnerf era) I was a big fan of the Jester d1, similar to your Opalo. But now with new system, supposedly higher end equipment grants greater valued skill checks.
