Hi,
I would say the biggest part of this VU for myself has been the Land Management System and the potential it opens up for Treasure Island.
So I present to you the interface:

From this you can see that the island has 5 fixed areas, this is where I think each one covers:
Western Mainland: What used to be that dense area West of the Teleport, at the moment it doesnāt seem so dense and seems to have either moved or been extended towards the north somewhat.
Hook Area Habitat: Iām not entirely sure about this one.
Northern Park Habitat: Again unsure, but obviously covers an area in the northern region.
General Creature Habitat: This is the one that covers the whole island.
Watery Shore Habitat: The NW, SW and SE corners of the area where the alloās live.
For each area there are 6 slots for DNA and you appear to be able to put the same mob in every single slot. If you did this and cranked up the numbers section (and had enough fertiliser to maintain it) you would obviously get a very dense area!
What can be added?
Only animals seem to be capable of being added, the robots that roam around are not in the system and I would hazzard a guess that mutants wonāt be allowed either.
Materials
Dung has been found fairly readily, growth molecules have proven harder to locate with the usual first few in auction asking very high prices.
DNA is still a mystery, most likely looted is my guess.
Update: Growth Molecules have a TT of 0.47.
Operations
Fertilizer goes in, it generates Improvement Points (IP). Since I donāt have any fertilizer yet Iām not sure how many points each unit provides.
Setting a new numbers or maturity level costs a certain amount of IP, locking it in so that level stays set appears to cost 1 IP unit per day per DNA slot. So in theory if I maxed everything out it would consume 30 IP per day.
Update: I put 5 units of fertilizer into the system and it gave me 0.3 IP. Given rounding issues that is more likely to be 0.25 and this will be checked as more fertilizer is put in.
Removals
Exterminating a monster in a DNA slot is a 5 day process. Based on this I would say that adding new DNA is also a multi-day process.
This is just a summary of the system, Iāll create a new post in a couple of days with my plans based on peoples previous suggestions and then set about putting everything into action ![]()
