It’s been a while since I’ve been on a hardcore hunt in pvp zone or in big mob places. Last time I remember, the worst stealer I saw at Tantardions was Anda Atreides.
I know most ubers hunt in space now, but still, if any of you guys are still doing high-end hunt, do you have any names for today’s infamous kill-stealers?
Care to post some names as a warning? Who are your worst, most annoying stealers?
Will naming be allowed here?

Well hate to say this but. Back then when you hunted Tants there was only 1 spawn at a time till it was dead then another one spawned. So you either had to take turns killing them or kill steal if you wanted to hunt them alone. And if 5 ppl wanted to hunt them you’de have to wait 10 mins for your turn and who wants to do that? So I can understand the kill stealing on Tants. And then you got some ppl who would come to skill outbacko or something, and no way in hell I’m waiting 30 mins for you to skill rifle while I stand there with my finger up my ass. Myself, if I got there before you, tough shit there mine. You can have them when I leave if you wanna wait. If someone else was already there I’de leave.

In our case, we had 4 ppl from Anima Mundi, picking a time carefully, when tants are alone. (btw, when we did it, there were 2 spawns at a time or so)
We killed like 10 or so, then Anda shows up and the massacre begins.
Us: A minisweeper V1, a loudmouth, a FF8000M, and a Mk2
Anda: Impmk2.
Anda pwns us before we even get to reload, lol. :laugh:

To a certain level yes.
We wouldnt allow everyone to just insult anyone, but mentioning people that everyone knows about and their rumor is allowed.

What bothered me mostly was people stealing tant youngs when there was about 4 tants around and 2 people hunting. Me with 2875 and him with MM, Adj v1 or sumpthin.
I acctually got the comment “you should take a bankloan to buy MM.” when he KS’ed me. :laugh: Im not gonna mention who it was tho.
Me: “Hey can I borrow some money?”
Bank:“Why?”
Me: “I wanna buy a MM… uhm… its a item in a game. Prettyplease?” :silly2:

Yea Tory from CC (ex member of RedCell). Ask Anda she went up against him once trying to kill steal from her at Tants. Anda lost from what she said but that was long ago. I think now Anda would win being some insane Prof like Grand Master or whatever Master she is! ( think he was using Mod Merc if I remeber right)

btw.. were is the best place to skill on tants? only know the young ones..
Sometimes KS is a necessery evil, like at longus for example. There is only 4 off them and if a noob shows up and try to kill one of them it usually ends up with him dragging it away from the spawn out somewhere in the desert and die, and then there is one less longu. KS is the only option here since 99% of the noobs think they are strong enough to handle the longu.
Also when dealing with trappers. But then it’s just fight evil with evil. Perhaps we should make a thread to hang out all the evil trappers? 
In both these cases it’s very ok to KS IMO. The only bad KS is when someone do it just to piss people off.
Those are the names I wanna hear. You know, it’s just when I’m hunting, if I see a name on the horizon that’s on the list, so that I can know “Ok, time to gather my belonging and leave”
i trap big mobs like spiders too, cuz otherwise ill have no shot at killing em, does that give you the right to kill it and say “thanks” after i worked my ass off to get it where i want to get it and maybe died like a dozen of times in the process?

I only do it when there are to many people clogging the area or if someone tags 5 mobs to skill with their mann mph etc.. It takes time to piss people of to the point that they leave. And that time i can spend on hunting instead. 
And another thing about trapping, dont rely too much on trapping. Because some day they will remove the ability to trap completely. And that day it can be nice to know how to hunt for real.
And with spiders you dont have to worry, since i can’t handle them i dont hunt them.
Excuse me, but what counts for “hunt for real”?
Given this game’s primitive controls (for a 3D shooter anyway), all that’s left of hunt is… switch weapons, click the fire button, and then stand and watch your armor decay while the mob’s damage is calculated against your health plus defense ability.
For real or not, it’s all about the numeric values. A noob can’t withstand a fight versus a warlock 07, even if he shits all over himself.
So, trapping in my opinion, CLEVER trapping - is the very art of hunt.
To know where to run, to know HOW to make the animal go into the right direction, and to know what angle to approach to both hit it and not be fucked by it.
With hunt for real, i mean how to use what you have in the correct way. Believe it or not, the ep-40 was not created for taking down Atrox Old Alphas. There is more into hunting then clicking the mouse.
Whatever you or me think about trapping, it doesn’t matter. Traps as they are now are bugs and will be gone, or mobs will get a AI update so they are able to comprehend that there is a wall between them and their target.

I agree there- not to continue the off-topic. But much ks’ing would be eliminated if traps were also eliminated.
well I have not being much of a Kser , but I guess if ur hunting at a scarse spawn and u want em for urself I guess ksing is okay.. moral say if u where there first thou .. but hey who cares 
but then again if u keep ksing some poor hunter that u largely outclass and ur hunting a big spawn .. then u should be shot at sight
