Hello everyone. this morning I wanted to log into Entropia, I use Microsoft authenticate for 2 factory, because when I wanted to use Entropia pocked and scan QR code application shout itself.
this issue was send to support and they told me they will look into it and case was closed.
Since I use entropia pocket( 2020- i used gold card) there was no year I hadn’t had trouble with it, but since 2024 it was way worse then ever. Did anyone had similar issue or could tell me why this happened to me so many times?
Time on phone was right each time I wrote security code. But like I said since 2024 there was no day I hadn’t have day without no issues. most common was - server not responding properly, please try again later.
In July 2025 I had again in-corrected time code and wanted to de-active it- I used recovery code, but had error 465, I wrote support case and they de-active it. I active 2fa was ok, till today.
My question is- did any of you had so much problems with 2fa?
Don’t have any problems with 2fa at all. Starting with 2018 when they obsoleted the gold card I first used Authy on the phone and PC, and when Authy killed their PC client last year I switched to 2fast on Windows and 2FAS on android. I always have it on at least 2 devices just in case.
Make sure you have the time and date set to automatic on your phone. This was an issue for me a few times. (make sure its connected to the internet for the time to auto update, i changed my wifi router and lost connection on my authenticator, took me a while before issues started to show because we changed from winter to summer time etc)
I have my android offline so when I connected it online this year the time went out of sync. Previously I used Google Authenticator but when I reactivated I was able to use MA’s poket. Its back offline now and won’t have any issues forever 
because as ChairmanEdgewise said the time change (can’t catch me if I’m not online) runs away and hides.
Thanks for reply- since 2020 when I get first time issue with 2fa- I always check my time on my phone- always, I do never use internet connection with 2fa- never. My wifi and connection is off.
I do have such many problems with this- is just surreal. I did run my phone with scan to see if i have any virus or something- nothing shown. So where and how i can see what cause such problems. I read all of post including my issue, no similar issues like i have.
I asked others players- my friends in game- nobody had such issues.
It run for a while then poof incorrect time code, without any reason- no wrong time, no my miss-click or something.
Never owned a cell phone before but I assume if you use it to call people it re-changes the time while connecting to towers. <— maybe :geek:
My authenticator phone is never online, never connected to anything. When I did get the 2fa issue you are mentioning, i noticed the date was incorrect. Always worth double checking. As much as a minute wrong in real time is enough to throw it off, it might be worth connecting to wifi - auto update time - disconnect from wifi.
You could test if you have these issues too when you connect EU not via your default internet / modem but via a mobile hotspot, to exclude it as a root cause.
I used a Gold Card until (a few months after) they literally forced us off of it last year. As much as I’d love for Entropia Pocket to be dysfunctional so we could go back to dedicated physical devices, I have yet to have any problems with it. I use a dedicated tablet for just EP which is no longer Internet-connected.
How does the 2fa work on a non internet device? Genuine question, I’m not as internet/tech savvy as yall
Some deterministic process is used on both server and offline client to generate codes given some initial seed. An internet connection is required at first to establish mutual knowledge of the seed, and then each machine runs the same deterministic process independently, resulting in consensus on the correct code as a function of time. At least this is the basic idea of how it works.

i did wrote support case, but it is summer, so it will take a while and be honest it is not the first time I do that. this is just so frustrating how many troubles I have with this one time code.
But I just want to know why I have so many trouble with it. Like I said - it run ok, then out of blue poof incorrect. time and date corrected- numbers too, but code not.
Yeah, no clue, frustrating as hell.
